[Vardorvis] Desert Treasure 2 guide 

Killed Vardorvis third attempt, thanks for this guide! What made the fight easier for me: I had a really hard time managing the spawn, ice tiles, and axes all at the same time, so on my third attempt, I made the decision to simply not pay much attention to the axes (I only dodged when easy to do so, mostly just stood to the side since they will miss sometimes anyway and tanked the ones that came at me) and ONLY focused on the ice tiles and the spawn. I left the prayer tab open as much as possible and only switched to inventory when I needed to heal / pray pot, then switched back. This made it way easier to switch to protect from range when i had to block the spawn attack which I found to be the biggest threat. Finished the kill with about half my food left this way.

Do not focus on the axes too much, stand in the corner as much as possible and just focus on the spawn/range attack. Keep your prayer tab opened and be ready to switch to protect range when the spawn appears. His melee attack towards the end of the fight will basically 1 hit you if your prayer is off, so don't try to be too sweaty and avoid everything, just avoid the spawn attack. Get sweaty AFTER the quest lol that's my advice. Got it on the 5th attempt after I stopped trying so hard.

Hey man, I love your guides! Been a long time fan for years! I have been questing with you every step of the way. I just wanted to point out when coming up from that ladder at the beginning, if you search the south-eastern chest there, you will find 10 stink bombs. I am guessing they are used to also help distract an oncoming horde of zombies! That is really neat I thought, so I figured I would share that with my favorite OSRS Guide Maker! Fantastic guide! K, thanks, bye. Edit: I came back to say that I did Vardorvis shortly after making the comment. I literally beat it first attempt, but was eating non stop because I was just getting quickly overwhelmed with the axes and where to move to not get hit lol. But I pretty much tanked my way into defeating it my first try, with 0 food remaining! I did use pretty much all end game gear though, so I'm sure that's what helped! I also never took off protect from melee. But the more I fight this thing, the more I will know when to quickly put that range pray on, and to avoid axes. Great guides bro as always!

Don't worry about using BGS or other defence reducing specs at Vardorvis, they made it so all damage reduces his defence slightly. You'll want to take a damage spec instead, like DDS or claws or voidwaker, or maybe even SGS edit: awesome guide as always just wanted to throw in this minor correction

you got rune i got dragon javelin heads from boss... thank you for guide if anyone's struggling with new boss theoatrix has a more of a dummy guide mainly just standing south and understanding the flying axes will get you the kill, hopefully that helps anyone else who is struggling.

jsyk if ur struggling the strangled section on the way back to the pyramid (when ur getting the potion ingredients) CAN be cheesed (tbh I almost feel like what slayermusiq did was cheese and this might be the intended way). U easily can slowly pick off every strangled one by one. at least until u get to the "city" where theres tons of them. At the point i just yolo'd thru and froze a cpl ppl on the way but mostly worried about running away. i think i even stepped on a vine but i was fine. this way by the time i was at the city square i had literally 0 infection instead of the normal like... 50%+ i normally had. it was hella slow but it made that section free

IF YOU'RE WATCHING THIS NOW AND THIS IS YOUR SECOND BOSS AS WELL (especially HCIM): it might be helpful to know they made the mysterious stranger that attacks you spawn a lot earlier so you can't fully ignore him. you will have to tank a few hits _and he will teleblock you_ with 99 hp and decent magic res (masori(f) top and bottom, d'hide boots, df ward) he hit me 100% of the time but always for low amounts. I took about 30-40 hp which was completely managable since i had food, but if I was low hp or didnt have run energy (bring a stam pot) who knows it mightve killed me

Funny how Kasonde was so strong when fighting the player, but very weak and pathetic when he was attacked by the zombies.

Thanks! Now onto leviathan, can't figure out how to stop it with smoke magic from going extreme speed mode.

For 60 attack pures Colossal blade is a good choice for Vardorvis. +98 slash.

Anyone who is having trouble with the ranged DPS check on Kasonde, you can just Melee him with piety + super set and once he gets to 100 hp, dump 4x dds specs to skip the healing. Was able to use it to finally clear Kasonde with a D Scim + DDS on the first try on my low lvl iron.

When is the 3rd boss video coming? I only play mobile and follow ur guides so I'm not starting it till u drop the video

Btw if you have bowfa (aka my ironmen bros out there) just use that vs Kasonde and you'll barely use any food lol.

You made that defend part way scarier sounding then you needed too xD I just camped ice barrage with one barricade and was fine.

Kasonde was harder than Vadorvis when your ranged level is around 70. I ended up meleeing Kasonde with d scim and dds.

At 20:00 you ran past them, there was very few....on min there's about 3-4 in each route that you can't just run past lol
