Melodious, mellifluous, pleasing, pliable, vibrant, attractive, wonderful, sonorous and differently attractive voices are there in karnatic (rarely) and its Hindustani counterpart. Sashank, Thanjavur.
So great rendition..Loved the vinyasam...niraval @ kamitartha dayakiiiiiii....kameswara manohari sankariiiii ......Have witnessed his live cutchery with this song....n after many years used to hear this song through audio cassettes.....
@@muraliiyer4137 I have listened him singing in many venues....decades' back even at his Mylapore/Santhome house ( House given by Lalitha Daasar, free of rent) . Chemabai's family lived there few more years after his demise. The enclave is known as LALITHA NAGAR; Now there is a huge appartment in that place.....Its the street, just behind the ROSARY MATRICULATION SCHOOL, santhome., Chennai.
I am imensly grateful to all the spnsors pakkavaadya praveenaas allall supporters to this devine heavenly episode saastaaga pranaaamagalu kOti kOti namanagalu
One of the finest Keerthanas with a combination of gana raaga and tempo and its vibrant singer, a memorable enjoyment. Raaga expansion, song and swara kalpana are fantastic. But one must understand the meaning of the language and meaning. Regards, Sashank, Thanjavur
Excellent song and in the early morning 🌄to hear this from Sembai Vaidyanatha Bhagavathar is my poorva janma punyam. Good luck to you . With Greetings. Thanks for your efforts 🙂.
CVB ji adds grandeur to Arabi. What a majestic performance, stentorian to add! I wonder who the melodious violin maestro is. Palakkad Mani Iyer for sure on the percussion, and Lalgudi, on the strings?
We can hear Chembai telling someone ( probably to his wife as I presume that this was recorded while singing with his sishyaas at his Mylapore home) in Malayalam ( while at a pause in the .niraval @ kamitartha dayakiiiiiii.) ..."വൈദ്യരെ കണ്ടില്ലലോ...പന്ത്രണ്ടുമണിക്കും കേട്ടോണ്ടിരിക്കേണിങ്ങനെ? " ( "Didn't see the Vydhyar/ doctor ... have been just listening at Twelve o'clock ?" )
No, he is performing this concert in the early 1960s at Poomulli Mana (Nambudiri illam having experts in Ayurveda) - where the vaidyan who cured his loss of voice was entering the hall at that exact moment when he acknowledges his entry by saying "vaidyare kaNDutallo kaNDutallonu vicharicchukkoNDirukkAn angane"
