Have you considered wearing the buckle end of the strap towards you? the norm has always been buckle side up... But doing it "Backwards" I find it MUCH easier to put on my watch because I can slide the long end while holding the buckle with my fingers. I also find that I fumble a lot less while doing it so there is less risk of me dropping the watch. Another plus I get is that since the buckle is now right on the middle of the bottom of my wrist it presents the watch much more aesthetically and I don't get it snagged on anything nor do I go about sliding the metal buckle across every surface I rest my hand on (think a delicate plastic laptop). Give it a go! I recommend it and wouldn´t go back to the old ways of wearing it!
@@SuburbanPathfinder I have several Crazy Horse items. You will find that handling the leather makes scuffs and also removes them. The leather is ever-changing. It has great character. Nice bund strap. I have fallen in love with my latest strap, a RIOS1931 Nature Buffalo. Available from Holben's. Not too odd to wear a diver on a bund. Redford wore a Doxa on a bund in "Three Days of the Condor".
@@SuburbanPathfinder At least Mr/Ms "Google User" is honest about their bias as a Citizen employee. Imagine what would happen if I posted, say, a review of a new Honda, describing a flaw, and some jackass claiming to be an employee of Honda went around attacking me and calling me a liar? Nobody would buy from them. Fortunately, most responsible companies have PR departments, and tell their employees not to engage in this kind of behavior, but maybe Citizen doesn't care about public image . Citizen as a brand should really pay attention to what asshats who are acting in their name are doing that may tarnish their image online. I wonder if this person is affiliated with that "officialwatchdeals" ebay store, their so-called official outlet out of TX? Very similar writing "style", and those guys have NO customer service skills. I'd had one very bad experience with them, and will probably never buy another Citizen watch as a result. At least I was able to get Paypal to back me up. And, no, I didn't find a single speck of dust in the watch I never received ;)
