During the opening ceremony, regional artistes from five countries - Jessica Soo from Singapore, Awie from Malaysia, Ariel Rivera from the Phillippines, Harvey Malaihollo from Indonesia and Maneenuch Emerset from Thailand sang the theme song for the games 'Bring On The Smiles'.
