All the busses one would see on any given Sunday in Los Angeles, CA. Most of the busses featured are operated by Metro. Part 2 here: • Various busses in Los ...
As someone who grew up to Neoplans on the 305, as well as the 40C-LFW on those Sunday 210 routes, this is like traveling back in time. Rest easy, buses of my childhood.

I have really enjoyed this video and part 2 as well. It has inspired me to check out the buses in our neighbor to the north, LA. I am planning on taking a day trip next week (Jan 6 or 7, '11) to ride MTA buses. Hope there are still Neoplans there, those are the ones I would really like to ride as there are none down here in SD. Any tips where I might find the Neoplans in abundance? Thx.
@jfrog1983 Yes I am a fan of Neoplan's. Have had the privilege of riding and seeing Neo's all aross the US. I do love Neo's an really miss Septa's 6v92 powered AN440's. But I still get to ride Septa and PAT's AN460's.
Cool a fellow Neoplan fan! They are my favorite LACMTA bus but I wanted to get a bit of everything in this video for the Nabi and New Flyer fans out there, and the S50 fans too.
@Jose Farias Even the P865 light rail trains together with the P2020 light rail got replaced by the new P3010's between 2018 and 2021. Los Angeles is different now and it will never be the same again.
I miss Neoplan AN440, New Flyer C40HF, NABI 40 LFW, and New Flyer C40LF. Now, We have ENC AXESS BRT, New Flyer Xcelsior XN40, NABI 45C-LFW, NABI 60 BRT, New Flyer Xcelsior XN60, and BYD K9M
Gosh I watch this video now and it both saddens and disgusts me. When I first got into buses in 2010/11, this was the LA I remember; Neoplans roaring down the street, 50Gs burbling and chimming by. Go to LA now this would be unrecognizable. Sad, because it brings back memories of fun times now lost. Disgust, because today's buses are pathetic, lifeless boredom.
1MTSRider Couldnt agree more, the sounds are what got me into buses as well. Many cities are goin Hybrid which sucks because they are so quite and besides they are mostly POS buses that are tiny and dont last.
@@BobNewbie I miss the old P865 and the old P2020 light rail trains that used to run on the Blue Line and the Expo Line too. Now those trains are retired and they were replaced by the new P3010 light rail vehicles that came out in 2016. Everything was different back then in Los Angeles and it was much more affordable to rent an apartment and even buy houses but now not anymore. Everything has changed and they have so many new buildings that are being built just because of corporate greed.
I found the 2007 LACMTA Nabi 60 BRT CNG orange bus #9478 Is Now In Metro's Division 5 Bus Yard Line 204 To Vermont/Athens Green Line Sta Via Vermont Ave
High floor is the best. Why can’t we just cope with lifts? So much more comfy to ride in. NJ Transit is the only agency that realized this that they customized NABI busses to be high floor.
urbancombat1000 I know this is late but Orange is Local service Red is Rapid service White can be local or Rapid Dark Silver iserro Silver Line Light silver is Metro Orange Line and Blue is Express.
I found the 2001-2002 LACMTA Nabi 40 LFW white yellow jacket bus 7614 Is Now In Metro's Division 1 Bus Yard Line 18 To Wilshire/Western Purple Line Sta
