Ok, since Blood Shepherd and Lightning are mentioned by Revolver, I thought I’d say this here. I find it strange that quite a lot of people dismissed the concept of Blood Shepherd, Bohmen, and Lightning being in Duel Links purely because their decks do not exist in real life. There are a few cards in this game that don’t actually exist and Double Ripple has its anime effect.
Without trying to disrespect any other players as everyone is entitled to opinions, I think a lot of fans live in the now or only look at things short term. VRAINS World is very early on. Even with VRAINS Season 1 not having a huge cast, and with Revolver/Varis's addition, there's still a few like Ghost Girl/Gal, Akira and Specter they can add. At least those would be important S1 characters. I'd say we'll get two of those three this year. Maybe all three, but considering the amount of worlds we have now all still getting slots (GX and 5D's one per year each, and either a DM OR DSOD unlock per year) I don't think we'll get four VRAINS unlocks this year. I'd love to be wrong, but realistically I think we'll get two of those three this year and the third as our first VRAINS 2024 character. So realistically we probably won't see S2 additions outside of Soulburner until one or two next year. That means KONAMI could print at least 1 or 2 more VRAINS decks this year and so on in future years. Since Varis outright mentions him in the voice lines, and The Gore/Go also had lines hinting at him, I could see Shepherd getting his cards printed this year as KONAMI are clearly already thinking about him. Plenty of time really for S2 characters to have their decks printed IMO, and even then, there's other characters they can add while holding off on others while printing decks. Earth's G Golems getting printed make him very possible IMO.
I think most people dismissing them are dismissing them for now. At the moment, their decks do not exist at all, and all of the currently not printed cards in DL have also been in other Yugioh games, while the Vrains cards haven't. At the moment they probably aren't coming, but if Konami announces out of the blue that Armatos Legio are being printed, then we can definitively say that Lightning has a better chance of making it. Shepherd is a matter of when, since his deck ranked 4th on that on poll for the anime set, and the 3 that ranked higher than his have all been printed now, so we'll probably be getting Drones within the next year or two.
they literally only use anime only cards that were in previous video games. So RIGHT NOW we wont get Lightning and co, but when they get printed irl they probably will come.
Its going to be a long time for characters like Blood Shepard, Windy, and Lightning to appear. Not just because they're season 2 Vrains characters, but also because Drone Force, Stormrider Ships, and Armatos Legio still haven't been printed yet.
Love the English VA of Varis! Reminds me a lot of Jason Griffith playing Shadow the Hedgehog from the Sonic series! Looking at Varis's monsters gave me both Transformers & Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphan vibes!

2 things I knew about Varis 1. Varis would be in Duel Links in his second avatar form 2. 14:12 He would say "Fall into the abyss of bottomless despair!" when using Mirror Force
he could have dialogue with: -Outburst Dragon, which looks a lot like a monster from his deck and its effect is closely related to his deck. -Day Zero Blaster, Zeroboros appears in the art of the card, in addition to serving well for his deck.
aw, dissapointed he has no voice line for that recent rokket code talker card would be cool to see what unique dialogue he would have for it considering it represent him and playmaker's relationship
I'm assuming his lines were recorded before it was unveiled, which is unfortunate. Declan was similarly unlucky with the DIFO support, as was Kalin where Infernity support was revealed not long after his lines were done.
@@miguelangelramirez8813 I'd love it too but it's next to impossible to do, and to my knowledge the only times it's happened are when they added DSOD variants. Which is a shame since it would be pretty easy for the dub considering the amount of characters voiced by multiple people there.

Interesting that they included voice lines for Revolver’s opponents in Season 2 like Shepherd when they didn’t do that for Playmaker/Ai. Considering that Playmaker eventually got his animation summon for Firewall Dragon after a delay, I hope the rest of his opponent voice lines similarly just haven’t been added in yet. 🤔
Revolver should have unique voice lines of cards when he was a kid. Alexandrite Dragon, Wattail Dragon, Divine Dragon Ragnarok, Mirage Dragon, Ancient Dragon, Stamping Destruction, Dragon Gunfire, Dragon Shrine, Dragon Ravine, Dragon's Rage and Birthright

im impressed by the way revolver has dialogues for most of his cards that didnt appear in the anime yet. makes me wonder if konami in the future will release the sequel of yu gi oh vrains so we can see borrelcode , borrelend dragon , and the other cards he have

@@PhantomHunter8122 most likely remember when kalin had voice lines for his manga only cards and eventually it got made so it looks like it's going to happen with his drones as well
@@miguelangelramirez8813 What's weird is that Kalin's lines for the manga cards aren't actually in the game, just the files. If you play Sage, Pawn, or Contract he won't use the voice lines, so I'm wondering what's up with that.
Some of these cards will probably never be added to the game. Borrelsword and Savage could come after a few more years of power creep, but Red Reboot and especially Gumblar are not happening.
Revolver is next on either spring or summer since kurosaki shun will be first but he mentioned ghost girl and blood Shepard so they'll be next to be added as a exclusive character in the next event
Gumblar lines makes me wonder if we're getting Extra Link in DL after all He has a line for Gumblar's Deus Ex Machina, but that effect requires Extra Link.....
When Bomber Dragon comes to Duel Links, it will become a chaos zone of destruction. The Revolver doesn't do a pendulum, but if it did, it would be the "Master of Summons". The character performs Tribute, Ritual, Fusion, Syncho, XYZ, and Link Summons. He is very badass, in addition to having extremely stolen cards. PS: I'd rather listen to the Japanese audio than the English audio. In addition to the censorship of character names (from Revolver for Varis), there are also censorships of cards and archetypes, such as Bullet (Varrett) that became Rokket (from firearms of calibers to rockets with no connection to the Link monsters). Why do Americans hate the names of (non-Japanese) characters that Japanese people put in anime so much?
It has nothing to do with his nationality, The translators just have an extreme phobia of guns. We're lucky they only changed the names of the Rokkets instead of cropping their bullets out or changing them to laser blasts like the Barrel Dragon line

@@Xerxes8614 Blair's cards were in Tag Force, and DL uses anime cards as long as they've been in another game. At the moment Shepherd isn't possible due to his cards not being in another game.
@-EmeralD - true but they also gave her twilightsworns. I was thinking they could give him the remaining mecha phantom beasts along with cards like orbital Hydralander. Stuff that just fits him
@Kim Hsiley Keep lying to yourself. Arc V dub has good voice acting for most of the characters (not the best nor perfect, but still good). Vrains dub has good voice acting for some of the characters like Yusaku, Revolver and Go, but characters like Aoi, Naoki, Roboppi and Ai etc have terrible voice acting in my opinion.
I usually like the japanese voices more in Duel Links but Varis' japanese voice is really eh. He kinda sounds like every generic 50+ years old Yakuza dude from any movie. Doesn't really fit him at all. Pretty sure he's around 20, so a little bit younger voice would have been appreciated.
