Honestly, this has been a year of non-stop banger updates, the rune pouch change, the clue timer changes, Varlamore, Jagex just can’t miss in 2024, they’ve been killing it. 👍
@@aaron1234579 It's gonna absolutely shred, man. Did they not learn from when they released the blowpipe back in the day? I'm expecting some nerfs real quick
I'm so hyped. This feels like a self contained expansion. Yes you can bring in your gear or you can go in with mid level stats and get so much out of it.
I played when hunter was released and I loved the skill, took a 15 year break from the game, came back new character and nothings changed, its easily my fave skill in runescape.
If those moonlight bolts are tradeable, my buddy is gonna make a fucking killing. Mf loves hunter and im all for him finally being able to bank hard off an update
If the Quetzal is going to be the only transport around the island, idk how I feel about a limited amount of charges. Especially if the island is going to be large. Seems like it's going to be more of a hassle to upkeep and players might find traversing the area to be tedious. Hopefully there are other transport methods like Spirit tree, fairy ring, mining cart, mushroom tree etc. Something atleast that doesn't require charges.
There will be an option to pay hefty one time fee by feeding the quetzal tons of meats at the top of the hunter guild and that will give you unlimited teleport charges to travel around
Have a love hate relationship with Hunter. I love it in general but stuff like hunting implings sucks because of all the bots getting the loot. Got 83 for a glory and the actual finding of the dragon impling was way more annoying than the actual grind lmao.
@@DannyFreddy you can already hit 30ish with the hunters crossbow with max ranged. With this buff you'd be able to hit 35-37 at the same speed as dragon knives. This thing is getting nerfed or the ammo is.
@Souundy Yeah it's going to be crazy strong, they'll probably have to balance it or make it hard to obtain, I was just teasing around with my original comment
@@Souundy its 3 tic like a msb and only slightly higher ranged bonus and str with the best bolts. Pretty much just a new 1 handed msb unless I'm missing something
I've never done the bird houses either just because I already feel like tree runs are effort enough. I'm almost 97 Farming though. Maybe I'll replace trees with bird houses when I reach 99.
Birdhouse rune always seemed like a useless distraction. Burning yourself out while getting tiny xp drops and a few birds nests. Just kill giant mole instead and do active methods.
Always loved hunter I’d rush 83 Hunter right away on all my 3 iron accounts for dragon imps and it only took me a few days. Hunter will be that much better now!!!’
You can combo eat the new foods with karambwans to heal for maximum health of 44 in 1 tick but none of the foods are gonna be like karambwans where you can use it with other foods.
still can't get out of my head that they are updating the already most updated skill in the game. I mean you can hunt to max level in so many different ways it is ridiculous. Bird house, chins, salamanders, monkeys, herbiboars. Plus you get aerial fishing, fossil island fishing etc you get my point. Now you have an entire new way to hunt up to max level. Meanwhile you have skills that have never been updated like herblore, prayer or even slayer that you can only get XP by doing one activity or two at best. Why even update hunter is beyond me it was ALREADY the method with the most ways to reach 99. What is Jagex thinking?
They are giving new training methods for both Herblore and Prayer in Varlamore, and Slayer is part of project rebalance. All those skills are fine imo. Whats wrong with adding more variety to Hunter?
@@Physicism There is nothing wrong the big problem is that other skills are in dire need of more variety. Hunter already has 6 or 7 high level methods to 99. Prayer has heads, chaos altar, pest control and house altar, not many methods, maybe that one arceus magic for ashes too. I mean you get my point skills like fishing or hunter are totally fine.
I hate hunter, the entire training method is you just placing something down and waiting for something to get caught with a high chance at the start for the trap to fail.
The entire training method for woodcutting is chopping trees and at lower levels you have a higher chance to fail. The entire training method for thieving is stealing with a higher chance of fail at lower levels, I could give other examples but you get the point.
@MyNuj birdhouses are decent, but the xp is slow. Also, birdhouses interrupt the grind if you wanna integrate them into the usual training methods. I would rather them just make the training methods less boring.
Ya, game has taken itself way too far, destroying old content, forcing everyone do do bis content to even compete with the obvious, easily spotted in 5 seconds why can Jagez do a damn thing bot problem.
