Alright everybody, welcome back to another RU-vid comment. Today we’re going to be commenting on a Zwag Varus video. Zwag is running Dark Harvest, Cheapshot, Eyeball, Ultimate Hunter, Absolute Focus, and Gathering Storm. He’s going to be going full AP Varus where his W should be able to one shot the enemy. Maybe we’ll get a “My Cannon”. We love hearing those. Did you know someone made an hour long video of every time Zwag says “My Cannon”? It’s pretty good.
As someone who plays ap varus a lot, I personally don't think dark harvest is that good for the build, it's a late-game rune, and varus basically already one shots late game anyways, hail of blades into melee or comet into ranged are my go to runes when doing this build, I also usually go manamune first item, then start building ap as it helps with dmg and pressure early when varus is at his weakest, if the game lasts to full build I sell manamune for nashors at the end., although into melee matchups I can see nashor's doing pretty good.

Actually, Mundo's passive shouldn't do that. It says nowhere in it's description that it blocks any other part of the spell, than the immobilizing part of it. And I don't think stacks that deal damage are very immobilzing. right? Riot, please fix.
Day 6 of asking "I couldn't choose so I chose all build!" Where you take a hybrid champ and build all starter item's before you may build anything else. So start with cull, into dark seal, shield, blade, ring, boots maybe a corrupting potion somewhere in-between. And then build into a item from every category. Fighter, marksman, assassin, mage, tank and support item! I would love to see this! I think the new Udyr may be a good pick or Shyvana of course!
In place of Nashors or Shadowflame, Runaan's or Rageblade can also work really well on AP Varus; Runaans for if they're grouped up a lot (because your abilities then proc on multiple enemies) Rageblade if fights take a little while (get 3 stacks in 2 attacks)
No you always want to first build Nashors on AP Varus. The base auto damage helps so much during laning phase and the 100 AP gives a sizeable increase to the W detonation from the stacks. I can see Rageblade/Runaans being a later item instead of Shadowflame or Void but id much rather have Nashors first and thats the consensus of a lot of high Elo Varus players (though I myself am not high elo)
I was thinking runaans but maybe not rage blade. Also he was doing a lot of far range abilities instead of hitting them and not getting focused in a team fight. So I guess he had the best items for his play style and runes
@@bradenskaggs5350 I keep forgetting it has 100 AP, 50% AS and +20% AP on-hit now... I still default to thinking of it when it had 80 AP, 40% AS and +15% AP on-hit (back in season 5). It's definitely not one you swap out now, better to swap Shadowflame or Void Staff, though I'd lean to swapping Shadowflame since you normally need more magic pen than HP. That being said, in reality they're all highly situational since AP Varus is a situational build in itself.
Dude, I've got a similar problem, sometimes my Q just goes flying before I release it, and this problem only happens on Varus, it has never happened on Vladimir and otger champs with abilities that can be charged. I think it's a bug on Varus, not a keyboard problem
I believe that under perfect conditions and if you're willing to sacrifice a little practicality for big numbers, you can get Varus damage up to 109% max health.
Regarding your keys (Qs) not feeling right, it could be how your keyboard manages input. Pressing another letter on the same channel as Q may temporarily stop the Q input. Not all keyboards are made for ultimate button mashing registration.

Hi Zwag! Try crit-lethality Thresh with With Duskblade as mythic and then: 1)Rapid Firecannon 2)Collector 3) Infinity Edge 4) *situational item* And as boots I prefer berserker’s This build is literally one-shotting squishies ☠️
I main ap varus and i found that HOB is really good too for laning and easy solo kills. Also the reason why when you press something it lets go of q is probably the setting, cast pressed spell upon pressing another spell
Since the beginning of 2022, Zwag has released 4 Varus videos on this channel. Zwag has released a total of 6 videos of Varus on both channels this year.
Yesterday i got a new skin for varus so I checked old zwag's ap varus videos but i was kinda sad bec I already watched it before and here we are today zwag post the video i was looking for without even asking love you zwag.
I, as a budding AP Varus OTP, laugh at the dmg Varus can deal. I further laugh that no one respects this build. Thank you Zwag for revealing this to me months ago 💯
Maybe you figured it out already but you may check if your keyboard has anti-ghosting. Most keyboards should come with it but I do remember you mentioning you got a cheap one off amazon. Basically when you press too many buttons around the same time your keyboard doesn't know what to do with it.
When you have 3 stacks on a target want to pop them, you should use your q and charge it up. And you should press w because it has an active that gives another % Health damage with your q. Plus, your abilities reduce the active w cooldown. Edit : or at least the e does.
i do AD leblanc built like blue ez with grasp of the undying and divine sunderer with auto fire cannon it really fun and i carry often, just super moble adc maxing first hit damage you should try it
Try a 6 Active Items build on a tank like Rammus, Singed, Volibear, Maokai, or Sion. Predator Boots, Turbo Chemtank, Gargoyle Stoneplate, Randuin's Omen, Zhonya's Hourglass, and Redemption. Bring Ingenious Hunter too for CD on the item actives.
Mundo doesn't have ghost on his R - Active: Dr. Mundo injects himself with chemicals to become enhanced for 10 seconds, gaining increased Health icon.png base health, Attack damage icon.png bonus attack damage, Movement speed icon.png bonus movement speed, and Health regeneration icon.png regenerating health.
How about the Ultimate Siege Comp? Yorick Hullbreaker, Ziggs, Belveth, and try to end the game as quick as possible. Possibly off the first rift herald
I kind of remember Zwag says that his new hobby is TLCing keyboards. If they're cheap or not gaming keyboards the Q-key problem in this video might be an "N-key Rollover" problem. Basically, the keyboard can't send all the key presses at the same time and error out or dropping key presses.
