Rai Dei: "I'mma fight a guy who's really super fucking dangerous to gain a higher spiritual awareness." Also Rai Dei: "OH SHIT I FUCKED UP THIS IS ACTUALLY SUPER FUCKING SCARY AND I WAS SO FUCKING STUPID TO WANT TO DO THIS- Oh hey, I have gained greater spiritual awareness. Getting killed by an impossible monster is pointless and I am literally only alive because of this dude's mercy and I kept mocking him for not killing me. Fuck I'm stupid."
Yep and then he gets killed by Nicholas D.Wolfwood 5 minutes later...after he survived what was in essence a nuclear explosion. HOW'S THAT FOR SPIRITUAL AWARENESS!?
@@LouisJasper supposedly the angel arm also take an extreme amount of energy to use as well. makes sense since it is basically a pocket nuke, might be stronger though since unlike a nuke which required an impact, just the emission of the arm alone is able to completely decimate an entire city.
Then you don’t understand the meaning behind his character at all. If that’s your big take away from the scene. Also I just realized this was a joke. My b dude.
@@tokyoquad3055 The Catholic Church actually backed most scientific discoveries pre-Copernicus. Most European science and medicine has its roots in the church.
@@ravenfal1496 Technically true, but the "science" they conducted couldn't contradict scripture or it was heresy during the dark ages. That's sort of why we got stuck there.
I think of this instance (and the first one in July) as a sort of lower power version of the larger angel arms from the end of the anime and in the manga.
Rewatching this, I wonder if this was suppose to be symbolism for WW2 Hiroshima? Then again, the author had a similar occurrence happened where an explosion was set off in Kekkai Sensen (Both series made by the same creator).
What the anime leaves out is that his first few blasts from his angel arm weren’t even near full power vash mentions that his arm is capable of destroying entire planets
You know what that is a real unfortunate thing to hear. Deku cries a lot and Vash too. But I think Vash would understand Deku's passion in what he believes. And if he didn't? They would defintely talk.
The ringing won't stop...GOD is going to sleep now...I pray I dream a new dream where the people of this world are better before I die. My heart can't take what this world has done to me. Otherwise I will die of heart failure. The pain is too much to bear, and the ringing is just to much...I need so much rest. I will never lose control of myself. Even if it means letting go of my host and going back to the void. Its sad really...I don't know what this world will do without it's God.
First time I've ever heard the dubbed version of this.. Ya phukked it up, kids.. Why do American studios & voice actors STILL make this stuff sound as ridiculous as the dubbed Speed Racer did almost fifty years ago? Is there some unwritten rule that says English speaking animated characters can't just speak normally?
