I really like how honest Loma is, he doesn't beat around the bush. I hope he inspires other boxers not only with his boxing skills but also with his attitude.
Louis Blanc - Teilleri Doubt it. Most dimwits judge this man by how many people watch his fights.... It takes a certain level of showmanship and self promotion to capture the interest of the public but most fighters are so desperate for recognition and status that they loose focus on why they chose to pursue such an unforgiving sport as a career in the first place. I actually hope East Europe start their own world championship organisation and create the most prestigious belt in the sport. If you want it you must earn the right to contest it and if you win, you must defend it against the #1 contender, the next highest fighter. Should they not take the fight, #2 and #3 are eligible only. If no one takes the fight, the European has the right to challenge #1 and should they refuse, they loose their respective belt(s).... The best fighting the best... Not for mega $$$ (leave that for the US sideshow) but for honour. There are probably several flaws to my suggestion, it was a thought off the top of my head. Would love to see a championship where the promoters didn’t consider themselves higher than the fighter. The level of ‘fees’ in this, self regulated, sport is criminal. The highest body should be the association/organisation etc etc. Lets restore some integrity back into the sweet science
Pure class. Everything about the guy, you want to like. He lets his ability in the ring do the talking and outside he is humble, intelligent and likable. What a breath of fresh air he is from all the big mouths out there.
Too much people all bark no bite, and a lot of fans swallow it up. Lot of respect for Loma, as he's seeing all of the good he gets from all the talk, rather than focusing on being insulted.

Andrij S Loma at age 18 was the amateur flyweight world champ, at age 18 Mayweather was fighting at 130 and Pacquiao was fighting at flyweight. Loma has went up 7 weight divisions throughout his whole boxing career. His natural weight is of a featherweight at best and his most dominant weight is at 130lbs. He fights at 138lbs at 135lbs and you think he can move to 140lbs? 😂 let’s be realistic. Loma walks around at 145lbs max.
Im so glad I get to witness this mans journey through the sport. 👏🏻 This man and his father are truely great. Sure, he’s no brutal heavy weight, 1st rnd KO machine. He is INFINITELY better to the people who truely appreciate the beauty of boxing. Most people don’t even grasp the depth of his strategy... Few can claim such a decisive victory that their opponent never wants to fight them again, or is even capable of believing in their own mind they have any claim to winning whatsoever or stand a chance in a rematch. Its a shame he has virtually no competition at his natural fighting weight. And people still call this man a ‘hype job’ Haa... How much has someone gotta do to gain the respect they obviously deserve!
It's a really smart way to think but this is the sport of boxing where your opponent's perception of you and especially the fans perception of you is everything... If you're too humble from the jump you won't make it... For example, had Lomachenko been as humble as he is know, when his pro career began, He would have never gotten multiple tittle shots within his first 3 bouts... He would've worked his way up to the ladder normally, which in turn would've caused him to now enter Championship conversation and no one would be talking about him being the pound for pound best boxer in the sport of boxing (which by the way, is a load of crap... "My oppinion"). How could anyone fix their face to make that claim, when Loma hasn't fought a pound for pound fighter yet, and Terence Bud Crawford already was and still remains the best all around pound for pound boxer on the planet!??? It's extremely disrespectful to Crawford, the fans and the sport of boxing in general, to even make that claim... Let's compare the two because there's no way we can make that claim without doing so because Lomachenko will never grow enough balls to work his way up to 147 and fight Bud... He could've stepped up to 140 to challenge Bud when Bud was the Undisputed Super Lightweight Champion Of The World after distroying Ugas for the WBC, WBO, WBA, IBF and Ring Tittles... But he knew that if he dared to be great, Crawford would've beat the brakes off of him and we wouldn't be waisting our time having this conversation to begin with... Lomachenko is 13-1 10 KO's (only 14 pro fights) while Terence Bud Crawford is 35-0 26 KO's including a KO over another pound for pound fighter (Gamboa,) who's no longer on the pound for pound list because Bud knocked his butt off it like he would've done to Loma had he had the heart to move up to 140 when Bud unified the division and he was just 1 weight class below Bud but he knew better!!!!!!!
His father didn't tell him to appear week when he got his behind handed to him by Solido... He followed that up by demanding and getting another tittle shot right away against Russell JR... He demanded, pleaded and cried so much that they felt sorry for him. And Russell JR was beyond himself with the news... Russell couldn't believe that he was being forced to face an unranked opponent who only had 2 pro fights under his belt at the time and just finished getting his ass whooped in his last fight. Russell was 24-0 at the time after working his way up the rankings to earn that shot and he felt disrespected because Loma had done absolutely nothing as a pro to earn that shot! The fact that Lomachenko was able to smash Russell is beyond my point!!!

4:59 This is an example of the difference in attitude between him and most US fighters. Most of them talk about other fighters being afraid out of arrogance. But you can tell that he is just being sincere and real. He is a better boxer than Crolla, and he is just saying the truth, without any bragging.

Still , everytime i hear Loma speak, with the things he says, i always smile 🙂 he is the best in my mind. i do not like putting other fighters down, i do no like Loma because i know others think he isnt the best.. I like Loma because hes genuine, honest, good man, respectful, humble. Im happy i am in the Loma Era i know im late to the party, but im still proud to atleast see it 😄 #TEAMLOMA 🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦 if he comes to Chicago i would die of excitement 😅

Loma won't even become 4 weight World Champ.I thought he wanted challenges at higher weight divisions but now he admits that 135 is his limit although he lacks challenges there too after Mikey Garcia vacated his title.
@@johnhawthorne2201 it is but currently Canelo´s resume is stronger and he has faced better opposition : Floyd, GGG,Jacobs. Especially Floyd & GGG are big names but Loma hasn't faced a big name yet. He needs fights against top names P4P but sadly they aren't around at 130-135.
Unfortunately Floyd and pac too will never achieve what loma did. 2 olympic gold medals. 3 weight divisions champ in only 12 pro fights. (it took mayweather 34 bouts). 397 wins with only 1 loss in amateurs (mayweather 84-6).
