200g fine semolina
1 Bag of Baking Powder
500ml Seed Oil or Half Olive Oil
250ml Orange Juice Fresh
Zest from 3 large oranges
100ml Whiskey
100ml Water
250g Icing Sugar
2 teaspoons Cinnamon
1 teaspoon grated cloves
For the filling Nuts & Raisins
For the syrup:
500g Sugar
450ml Water
400g Honey
1 orange
2 Slices of Lemon
4 cinnamon sticks
10 cloves of carnation
1 Vanilla
Each melomakarono is 50g.
My batch yielded 47 pieces.
I bake air at 180-200 for 25-30min.
