Tanks are basically of three types, overhead tank, underground tank and septic tank. Overhead tanks are those which are placed over the terrace for the purpose of storing water and are counted as heavy weights, no matter from where the water is coming to fill such tanks.
Underground tanks are used as water storage tanks but are dug inside the ground.
Septic tanks are nothing but the tanks used for the sewage purposes.
North is the direction of Goddess Lakshmi and God Kuber. Lakshmi is the Goddess of daily earning or income whereas Kuber is the God of secured or saved money. If we are using underground water either from underground tank or boring then it should be in north, north-east or east directions. But if we are taking water from an overhead tank then it should be in south-west, south or west directions. Septic tank is placed underground so it should be in east.
There are certain remedies which you can use. If overhead tank is in wrong direction because of any reason and you cannot change its direction then you can place two silver bricks each of 60grams inside that tank and if your septic tank is in wrong direction then you can use postman red paint to color that tank. These remedies will provide you with quick relief.
