The Pieta and the Sistine Chapel are wonderous and their magnificence cannot be overstated. Like the Mona Lisa, pictures and videos can never convey their greatness. The rest of the many hundreds of paintings in the Vatican however, are much of a muchness after the first 50 or so you see all on the same theme.

The art work is so beautiful and nice to be close to. I wanted to see it in person but my heart still skips a beat when I look at is on line or in books. They made the art to last and it did. WOW 😮! Creative and so beautiful 😍!!!

Tuvimos la oportunidad de visitar la ciudad del Vaticano, es un lugar muy especial por la parte histórica. No da tiempo a verlo todo. Recomiendo llegar muy temprano y pagar un ticket de acceso rápido para ahorrar la cola la cual es interminable.

I went here in may 24 and both the high altar and Pieta were hidden by clothes and walls for contstruction/restoration. A major dis’s appointment

The Vatican was very interesting to see, despite the long que of line. Walking to it thru Rome, you can almost miss it...almost. Inside was not quite as expected, which proves you should go without expectations. Sistine Chapel was the highlight for me in the Vatican, although guards constantly shouting "no pictures" to everyone was certainly deflating.

Rick you need a Damascus road experience with the KING of kings and the LORD of lords then and only then you will be able to report the truth. The Apostle Peter was never a pope. That’s not true you should get your facts straight first then you can do your project about Jesus’ Apostle Peter the Big Fisherman. Start speaking the truth!
