@@Liggliluff It's natural for humans to hold customs and one of such customs is giving someone you cared for a proper funeral. Eventually, everyone will be "consumed by nature" but having a loved one being simply eaten by scavengers, or just rotting away somewhere out there, and you never get to say goodbye feels kinda depressing. Unless that's something you're fine with, that's ok, usually people prefer to have closure tho.
