I'll never understand Vaulty's point of 'stealing views'. Everytime Asmongold watched one of my videos I've seen a drastic bump in views. Yes, the reaction videos get more views, but if Asmongold would've never reacted to it I would have never seen a bump in my own videos either. So even if I only get 5.000 extra views compared to the reaction's 100.000 views, that's still 5.000 views I would've probably never gotten if Asmongold didn't react to it.

@Cthulhu I agree. I think Asmongold just increases the exposure the video gets. Using myself as an example, I would never search for WoW youtube content creators myself because I am just not interested. However when I see some good videos on Asmon's stream I actually do go out of my way to check out more content of those creators, for example Captain Grim. I don't believe the take that people who are subbed to content creators do not watch their videos anymore because Asmon watches them on stream.

The only argument I need to make, and something I feel like Asmon or Kakio should've said, it's that comparing the Original Video and Asmon's Reactions, Asmon's usually have at minimum 10 minutes more than the original, and all those minutes Asmon is commenting on the videos and engaging chat about the video, in some cases ( Like H3H3 vs Keemstar ) bringing his own perspective. Thats alot more than other reactions channels do.

I started watching Asmon because he's capable of extremely insightful, balanced commentary that manages to stay in the real world. I'm a fair bit older than him and I'm still constantly impressed by his ability to make insightful judgements on the spot and communicate them well. Initially I wanted to dislike him for being a weird ginger who uses weird faces in his thumbnails, but his videos turned out to be pretty much nothing like what I thought they would be. On top of that he has a really good perception of game design and has thought about how to improve WoW a lot.

Exactly most of the time Asmonbald adds a lot to the videos he reacts to. They aren't even really react videos at that point but commentaries. His commentary is also very interesting to listen to. It isn't just him describing what happened in the video and how funny it was. Great Insight.

While watching Vaulty's hypocrisy being pointed out is really entertaining, every new video about him is kinda just giving him what he wants, so it would probably be best to make an exception and just ignore him no matter what kind of shit he talks about you, since nobody's gonna take him seriously at this point anyway, and he's just gonna keep milking the drama as long as he can.

Vaulty said his videos would bring in players to WoW “unlike Bellular, Preach etc.” Before I started playing WoW in early Legion, I watched a bunch of WoW content creators such as Nixxiom, Nobbel, Madseasonshow, Bellular and SignsofKelani to prepare myself since I knew it was a big MMORPG and I didn’t want to feel overwhelmed with stuff and systems. Unfortunately, I also ran into Vaulty. I watched 2 of his videos, saw the pattern and never watched another. Since then I started looking at the content creator before watching a video to make sure it wasn’t a Vaulty video. Funny how he thinks he brings people in while he thinks others don’t

3:37 he attempts to compare Asmon's reaction videos to the ones from back in the day where people just watch videos in their entirety with little to no commentary.. It's quite obvious that Vaulty has never watched a single Asmongold reaction video, otherwise he'd know that Asmon can't stop obsessively pausing and giving excessive commentary, thoughts, and opinions through out the video, often turning a 10 minute video into a 40 minute video due to all the pausing and 30 minutes worth of commentary. This is what is awesome and unique about Asmon's reaction videos, he gives real reactions and commentary.

Man, I am so tired of seeing asmon getting shit on for the reacts series. This is my favorite part of his content. I dont even watch his stream and I watch almost exclusively his reaction videos. I hope he never stops doing them. The mixture of asmongold and great videos from youtubes I would have never seen otherwise is a fantastic dynamic.

Asmongold is probably one of the best reacters out there, he is always ready to pause and discuss the video, add his opinions and ask chat. He gives everything you'd wish for your video when it's being stole..... I mean watched by a streamer. (I think that's also a reason there are people who NEVER played wow, such as myself, who really like watching him.) Especially comparing to that one French Canadian variety streamer.

Yes and no, Depends on the channel, Bellular is a well know channel so it can you can do that, but Kakio or Platinum are not big channels, and for those cases i think it do more good than wrongs. I follow Kakio since... fuck cant remember, ages, but platinum the first time i saw it was on a reaction and i love his channel and videos. Yeah a video is most likely that can have more views in this reaction since Asmon is huge in the wow community, but at the same time can give some channels more exposure

I wasnt a fan of Asmongold for a long time but that cause i never really watched him and seen the people who would just say this and that. once i took the dip into the world of Asmongold I found out why he has so many people watching him. he is fun to watch and i enjoy these clips when i cant catch the streams. Ill try to keep it short and lets thank insomnia for this. Talli did a video or was a stream cant remember when he called asmon about his responsability with his community or something like that, thanks to those who got to the videos and at times sperg out. Asmon defend his posture cause he said he havent done anything wrong (i agree), then there was another clip from tali stream i think when i cant remember what he said but was like the end of it. At the end of the day Tali didnt want asmon fans into his videos thanks to him reacting on his stream, and since then he havent watch a single one. That's it... kinda... 4 am and cant sleep but i did my best lol

In the original react to vaulty's accusation there is a clip of admin looking at dead servers that was from a week before vaulty's initial video. Also, before this beef no one had ever heard of vaulty so I doubt asmon saw any of his content

Asmon is one of the few streamers I've seen go out of their way to shoutout the creators of vids he watches. If it's good enough he'll recognize, hell sometimes even if it's shit. Asmon's hubris is way in check and I don't think he "ego trips" outside of people giving him gold for existing.

Asmon is one of the few that get the react videos right. He adds tons of commentary and engages with his audience while reacting. Turning a short video into a video that is much longer, just shows how much commentary was added.

Using content striking would be abusing the system, a report for false information/slander would be what he should do. Not like it matters anyway, YT doesn't give two shits about that unless it involved YT potentially getting into legal trouble themselves.

I feel like Vaulty isn't mad that Asmongold "stole" his video, nor that he reacts to content. I feel like he's mad because Asmon didn't react to HIS content so he got him to react in the only way he knows how and bring people over to his channel

What more does he want? This is a 30 minute video of Asmon watching 16 minutes of video. He basically went 50/50 on commentary and spectating.

Streaming videos on twitch to watch with your viewers is totally fine. Asmon, and his viewers all express there opinions together. Often asmon is stopping or talking over whats happening and getting the opinion of his viewers. Its just FUN to watch videos with your community. And a lot of the time, people who enjoy the video asmon has up, go and visit the channel they are viewing together.

Honestly don’t watch vids about wow, I just don’t find them enjoyable. But I enjoy Asmongold streams and when I miss I watch the clips. So he wouldn’t have gotten my view anyway I suspect that’s how most people, not necessarily for the Warcraft but for the creator.

Yeah that's a thing. I saw so other reaction videos on youtube and at times i don't watch the original with exceptions, if i enjoy the content. But like he said on the video, if anyone has a problem with him reaction and "stealing views" or other reason, they just have to speak up. This whole "drama" to me at least is that vaulty want to leech out some of asmon views, cause if he really had a problem a dm is always a good option, even when the main reason for all this is stupid as fuck.

I'll yell ya. At 5:34 it really sounds like this Vaulty guy is trying to sound just like chills, the #15 burger king foot lettuce guy. The way he's talking plus describing the event before showing the video of the event he just described.
