@@greasy_goblinoid yea they have MINIMUM 5 classics, but Dark Side - The Wall is probably the greatest 4-album-run of all time… 1. Dark Side 2. Wish You Were Here (my favorite) 3. Animals 4. The Wall Yea Pink Floyd is sooooo good, but Waters really gives them a bag name for no good reason, whereas Gilmour is pretty humble and willing to gives the other members the proper credit they deserve. Waters does not, and now he gives cringe political takes out the Wazoo. It’s just so unfortunate honestly…
For everyone who missed it, the BASED side of Pink Floyd put out a song siding with Ukraine and it’s INCREDIBLE!!! Check it out here, it’s too good! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-saEpkcVi1d4.html
@@calebn1375 nah, he’s been on the left for a long time, but he’s been blinded, and now he legit denies war crimes, it’s incredibly damaging. It’s especially embarrassing that the other members of Pink Floyd have a BANGER hit from this year support Ukraine’s war effort. It adds another level of cringe to Roger’s shit sandwich takes, and he should know better…
@@elderlord5164 Respectfully I must say disagreeing with an artist’s political takes is no reason to abandon an artist’s work altogether. Frank Herbert being a raging homophobe doesn’t make “Dune” any less brilliant. Kanye West being an altogether embarrassing shell of his former self doesn’t lessen the value of “The College Dropout.” John Lennon, one of the icons of the peace movement was a neglectful father, and at one point a wife beater (among other negative things), nevertheless The Beatles music as well as his solo stuff is amazing beyond description. Don’t deprive yourself of great art just because the guy who created it is a dick. Most artists are a little crazy by virtue of their profession anyway.
@@caflagel i can understand the sentiment of not feeling pleasure from someones music due to their stances tho. Especially if it gets put into newer music the older one takes a hit in enjoyment too
