I've had one of these in 184bhp SE guise for a while now. The manual option was the only one available to me at the time but now, after almost 3000 miles, it has lost that notchy feeling and the gear change is quite sweet. What impresses most is how well this car handles for one of its size, and that engine rarely runs out of puff, so much lovely torque. Downsides? I just wish it had the newer GM interiors like in the Insignia and was a little less thirsty, otherwise, I like it.
I was looking at one of these on Saturday down at the dealership. It's a nice looking car and looks well made. Although vauxhall don't have the best track record when it comes to 4x4's just think back to the awfull frontera. I'm changing my car next year and a 4x4 may be an option, a 4x4 from vauxhall not sure about that.
Whilst I think these cars look ok from the outside, they are dire inside. This revised model is no better. I can't believe they have gone for the dodgy wood effect in one of the models - Yuk! I won't be changing to Vauxhall any time soon.
