I have the astra. The radio and Bluetooth are not hard to work. My 9 year old daughter can do it by herself. They are a good car and easy to run. But if you are like my boyfriend and like speed this is not the car for you. My boyfriend drives a mk5 golf 2.0 and when he drive my car he tries to push it to go faster takes a while to build up the speed. But for me with the kids its perfect.
I have the same car 1.4 excite model in red and its not that exciting. Sluggish at times but when driving on motorways it will keep pushing cost wise dont think its very economical as ive the petrol version. I do find the windscreen with the little side window does block view at times. I think i would go for the insignia next car i purchase as things are starting to go wrong with mine. Thanks for a demo on the vauxhall astra.
Test drove Focus Golf and the Astra nothing to choose between the Astra and the Focus Golf slightly better but then it comes at a cost...Spec wins me over as a company car driver so I,ve opted for the 1.6CDTI ecoflex techline 110ps. pick it up on 12/11/2014 lets see if I made the right choice...
Why omit to mention the more powerful, more economical 2.0cdti? Why pick the model people are least likely to buy? The radio and Bluetooth a nightmare? It's easy, most of it's controlled by steering wheel functions..Not the most educated review I've seen! 👎
