I was wondering how much do you chart for the installation of the unit. I have a 2017 Cascada SE with the optional sat nav and I understand I would loose that option but would I be able to use the Google maps from my iPhone?
Yes you'd lose the original navigation, but you would be able to use Apple CarPlay and use the maps from there, or you can hotspot the Android OS and use Google Maps right off the units OS, which is a bit faster than the CarPlay, which requires Bluetooth and Data
Not built-in you can change from light to dark mode and vice versa, and you can change the wallpaper, but for customizing apps, what I would suggest is having a look for a Car launcher Application like AGAMA or have a watch of something like this and see if there's any you like because the system is an Android/LINUX based system, it's quite open for things like that: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-qNZL50WPIAk.html

My car has the airbag lights on the front dash and doesn't have a boot opening or parking sensor button. Would mine have any problems with the tesla style buttons?

I have a gtc vxr. And im loonking at buying a screen but not to clued up on storage and latest updates so could you give me some advice. Theres some on amazon for £180 2gb + 64gb ram and rom. Not sure if thst is any good. Also has adroid 13

With the Tesla style systems you lose the ECO button I'm afraid, you'd probably be better off with an OEM one, that can keep that feature, the RBT5754 is probably more for you

Is the Astra J Tesla style android and the Cascada the same because I'm getting mixed feedback about fitment? It looks like it will fit but I'm not sure because Astra has the silver trim around it.
Yes it will fit, the system is designed first and foremost for the Astra J, but it also fits into the Cascada because they share the same radio, CD400/600, the trim around them is identical, apart from the sweeping leather hood in the Cascada which is easily removed
Personally I wouldn't recommend installing this into a car with the Infinity Sound system, as the unit won't be able to power the amplifier in the car, unless you also changed the amplifier to an aftermarket version
It uses the car's original FM/AM radio connection, it will sound similar if not better than the original, you can also connect a DAB antenna for Digital Radio, if you're interested in that too
you would lose the ECO button with this system unfortunatley, I would probably recommend the RBt5754 on our website if you wanted to keep the stop start, that only replaces the original screen section, not the CD host down below
You'll need to check over the cables in the back, as well as specifically the Traction Control button, also see about the Canbus settings as it may not be set to the correct car type
and do yo knowwhat car type should i chose .i have astra j 2010..there only 2015 model to chose..and when i chose it the buttons on steering wheel dont work
I would need to know which Canbus has been supplied as if it's not got the correct settings for your car, a new Canbus would be needed, as well as manually checking over the connections from the unit, do you have a link to the item you got?

Yes, if you've got the same dash it will work, the main discrepancy is if you've got the infinity sound system in the car also, we wouldn't advise purchasing it if you did have the upgraded sound system

This unit is an 8-core processor, with 4/64GB of RAM and ROM, I think he missed out on the ROM at the end, referring to the cheaper units with a 4-core processor and 1/16GB of RAM and ROM, ROM being the storage space

Great video as usual :-) I have installed and have a few problems hoping someone can help. 1) my sensors dont beep anymore, just displays no sound to warn 2) My blinkers dont make the blinker tick tick noise. 3) my original microphones for calls mounted in the roof no longer work Any advice or help would be appreciated
@@iceboxauto I've purchased an experience one of these before had to return it. Even though the button is there it has no pins for connecting and isn't functional
