Enjoying your videos, they are brilliant. I am a bit clueless with car stuff, would you consider doing a guide on how to safely jack up a small car with a trolley jack, and where to position stands? I know the jacking points on the sills can be used, I mean more using a trolley jack in other areas safely, and best place for stands, to do things like oil changes etc. The Corsa looks like a great car. I currently have a MK1 Ford Focus Edge, 1.6 zetec petrol,which thankfully has just passed it's MOT.
I’m sure I can get around to doing a safe jacking guide, it’s so different across cars, essentially with a car like yours the jacking points will likely be on the sills and you would usually place the axle stands on the subframe or chassis legs

Yes,, it’s a very genuine car,, if it didn’t sell I was going to Saab turbo it but I have far to many projects already,, biggest intention with that car was to put it back on the road to live again
@@NicksGarageUk exactly what we are going to do with it pal. We have always had novas and corsas , just going to keep it original and tidy and use it . its got a couple of extras on now but still looks original to the untrained eye. Probs end up posting a video of its progression on my channel at some point .
Loving this series thanks for putting the videos up. Can I ask if you depressurrized the fuel system when changing the filter? I have an earlier 1.2 8v engine like yours and need to change it. Some literature says to do it but I don’t think there is much pressure there anyway….
