QUIZ: WHAT ARE YOUR ANNUAL MILES, DOES AN EV WORK FOR YOU?
@Bongybill
@Bongybill 2 года назад
Have had one of these for about 2 months now and can't fault it. My journeys are mainly local and economy/range is excellent. On motorway journeys range does drop, especially if using lights, heater, wipers etc but still ok and plenty of fast charging points available, have a coffee and 30 mins later back to full charge.

My wife has had one for a year. Costs £3.75 to fill up using cheap rate at night so about 2p per mile, and the first annual service was £43.

Sometimes you can get a better deal by going ‘In Stock’. Have a look at the Vauxhall Corsa deals we have available with in stock delivery slots - buff.ly/3sGv7EI

I used to have a Vauxhall Viva as a company car. Mind you, that was some 43 years ago. A 2 door coupé no less. I can't recall the car ever whining, but I do remember that the car squeaked a bit when it was bouncing whilst parked up at some remote location at night. Remember. I was 18 then and full of testosterone that needed to be released with a young lady present 🤔😶😲 That aside. Good review. I thought it was going to be a Corsa eeeww. But delighted to say it wasn't. Good little car. Great reviewer.

Nice little car , could of done with a hoover and dusting inside though. With diesel prices getting stupid this would be a good first step in electric cars.

Who the hell would pay to lease a car lol. I just bought a corsa e, 2 years old, under 10k miles for 15,000. I can't tell the difference between this and brand new and the car is mine.

Not sure about your charging costs. At 45 kwh it should e about £3 to fill overnight

I did expect Newcastle to have gone full lez I have to say, but no it wasn’t on the lez list.

No, as it's electric. Much touted to be the alternative for ICE cars, but as we stand to date they're not in various ways. Many improvements in the cars and infrastructure need to be pushed through first.

Was that not an Elite you were pointing to the seats? Was that not leather at the side of the seats? Plasticy leather. The dash does have various screen choices as you select with the stalk. KISS. Never had my energy screen able to show talk green columns. 8,000 miles then at 16,000 miles or 2 years for a Corsa electric service because Vauxhall are clueless. By 2 years the rear discs might need replaced as mine did. Rotten with rust. Steering light in D, heavy in Eco and nicely weighted in Sport.

Why does it called Vauxhall in UK? The official name is Opel in all of Europe.

Realistically the range is only 130 miles.

That’s what I thought exactly, getting close to wltp figures it’s almost impossible in any ev

In the middle of winter, yes. I've averaged 4.3 miles per kwh over my last 1000 miles, pretty close to 190 miles per charge.

Motorway driving at 70mph does reduce the range considerably but keep the speed down to 60 or even 50 and you get much closer to the stated range. Typical daily urban driving gets about 190 miles.
@georgewalker7061
@georgewalker7061 2 года назад
@@tonyhall1040 Actually in the Middle or any part of a cold Scottish winter the range can be 110 miles. As i know over 2 winters. 135 miles motorway miles in mid teens temps, and not great in temps into the 20's. 3.5 miles per kWh usual, 3.1 most common, and 2.1 winter.
