What a good looking car, I love the overall pack on these, with lots of toys. It seems like a bargain compared to the suv u had on the other week. My bmw also has a Garrett turbo :)
Excellent review, nice to see an informed and explained review - and one which doesn't always suck up to Audi / BMW like Matt from Carwow. Great job guys. I have the VXLine model, certainly agree with the comments on here
Its almost a secret for carbuyers. They running for a small german car like mercedes a, bmw 1 or audi a3. For the same money you got a Insignia 4.90 long. Same lenght and space as a mercedes E class. Only the E cost twice the money.
I agree that it looks better than the previous model, but I remember that year when the previous Insignia came out, it was by far the most beautiful car in its class, especially compared to the unconvincing Vectra C.
The bottom line is, the manufacturers knew that they would be moving onto the electric platforms. Put this together with the Stellantis merger, it looks like there were certain models that were going to get left behind. *A
@@PlanetautoUK And if I live in Norway, where electrification is the fastest, I'm not ready to switch to electric vehicles, especially because I like sports sedans, and Tesla 3 can not be my choice, it has a disgusting design, especially the interior. I tried a 1.5T insignia the other day and I really liked it, I'm still trying to gather information about the reliability of that engine, but I think I'll buy it so my wife can drive the DS5 we have now, and I can drive the insignia until we cross. on EV.
Only "bad" thing i find on this Insignia is that boot opening system.. Because it doesn't open up more than maybe 1cm when you push that button, the result is gonna be dirty hands every time you use boot.. Atleast on the wet weather and winter
I just looked up what music was playing from Michael's phone. 😉 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-nEVFzlwDAi8.html I'm looking at maybe getting one of these cars but rebadged here in Australia as Commodore. I like the idea of the 3.6 litre V6 option here, though I'm not sure where that engine is sourced from, would you guys know at all? I was hoping you'd show how well the lights worked at night too. Great video, thanks.
You’re very welcome, the lights were impressive, good car and we’ll try add lights from now, the V6 is from GM used in a range of US motors, - Cadillac etc - nice tune and clever searching, thank you
