I love my Mokka, it's ace. Every Vauxhall I have had (Quite few now) have been ultra reliable and great to drive. Far far better than others makes I have had.
That’s been my experience too, but reviewers seem to hate them? It feels like they all jump on the Vauxhall hating bandwagon. Very hard to find objective review
Previously had a 12 plate Mokka 1.7 CDTI Diesel and now just bought a Mokka X 1.4 petrol Turbo and its much nippier to drive than my previous one and does not lack power. Love the blue colour too, i had silver previously which was still nice though. The reviews are a joke really, these cars drive lovely, they have enough tech inside and look very nice to the eye. Get one, you will love it!!
Sales figures would suggest that buyers in this market don't care about sporty driving in a car like this. I don't understand why reviewers go on about it so much. If you want a sporty drive, buy a sports car...
I have bought this as I was starting to struggle getting in and out of my Focus. As a previous Vauxhall owner - I went with this as it was tall, comfortable and a bit of a treat to myself to have something with all the new systems. I have now had it for nearly two months, and love it. Everything about it is so good, and I would recommend to anyone else of a similar age (40 plus quite a bit) to go for comfort rather than speed. Turning circle is a lot less than I am used to - and setting off in first is still a bit jumpy - but no doubt I will get used to it. Cannot get used to the engine stop/start.... but I will get there. :-)
I bought this Mokkax X couple months ago, it's absolutely wonderful car. very very comfortable. I am very proud to be owner of this beautiful car.... awesome.
Hello What do you think of vauxhall mokka x in general ? Is it a reliable car ? Is there any known issues in the engine 1.6 cdti or the 6 speed automatic gearbox? What about the comfort and the build quality ?
Bought a monks x elite nav on a 17 plate from new. Can and do get 58 to the gallon on my diesel but the ride is harsh compared to the ford it replaced. Not real problems, like the storage, needs a heated front screen as I have to keep a demist pad in the door. Just not happy with servicing costs. Seems a bit heavy!
I've just bought a new 69 reg Mokka X Ecotec 1.4T. Will be great to see how it compares with our old model 2017 reg Mokka 1.6, which didn't pull quite as well. However, I've often driven to Scotland in it, and it is very comfortable on long journeys. Don't know what I'd do without cruise control and the armrest has done wonders! Nice review. I've transported many bodies in that generous boot!
I had a 2014 Mokka 1.7 cdti from new and loved it . Changed to a Mokka x Elite 1.6 cdti in July 2017 and really like this car too a joy to drive on country roads or the motorway .....
These drive smooth as a whistle. Only complaint I would have and have experienced is there is a lot of road noise. Other than that is a great car. (I don’t own it)
The plastic trim panels which line the boot are so flimsy they constantly rattle. The access panels to the rear bulbs have tiny clips which WILL break (not might break, WILL break) when you remove the panel for bulb access, which means they rattle as well.
I just bought used mokka X 1.6 engine 2017. When I’m driving at 70mph on the motorway the tachometer is at 4000rpm for 5th gear. I would like to know if that’s normal . Because I drove my 2.2 Lexus 2007 for a year and it was 2000rpm. I understand all cars differ
I HAVE A VAUXHALL CORSA 2017 1.4 NATURALLY ASPERATED SRI VX LINE90BHP.70mph 3000rpm on rev counter.Your should be roughly the same.Mines 5 speed manual.
did my driving lessons in the mokka X having previously used the Ford Fiesta. found the car great to drive but it felt rather large and you did have to change gear pretty much straight away at junctions
@@preciousgerbosch 11500 just renewed warranty with Vauxhaul holdcroft and only front seats are used as we are couple and back seat and boot never used. All history available
Simon George until now I had 2 corolla"s 2 astra's 1 suzuki swift 1 renault megane And now this mokka x. I can tell you is the best I had intil now. Very comfortable very good space inside, very nice interior, nice touch screen and good powerfull engine(1.4 petrol). Until now I never had problem with opel, I mean serious problem. Why are you so negatevi about this brand?
I don't know why it sold so well. It's so bland and dated. This isn't enough of a face-lift for a car in this class, most of its competitors look like proper SUV's - this just looks like the baby MPV that it is.
