My daughter has one of these and they are invaluable if you have children and/or animals. I can’t recommend it more, buy one. Best thing is I can borrow it for free! Great video thanks Mike.
Interesting review Mike. We mainly have laminate flooring but stairs n landing are carpet so this Vax would be great for stairs and indeed cleaning the carpets in our car. All at sensible money from good brand! Thanks for sharing Mike and Kath👍
Love these kinds of devices ! When I had dogs I had a Bissell one very similar to this and it was great for helping clean up little accidents, usually made by the dogs lol. It was especially great for doing the car upholstry, made me last car look like new on the inside. This looks great though, thanks for sharing :-)
I do suggest spraying on the solution first and waiting a minute for it to soak into the stain or alternatively putting the solution into a spray bottle with water and spray onto stain then use the water in the vac as a rinse.
I've just ordered one of these, looking forward to using it. Would it not be a good idea to vacuum clean the area before using the washer? Maybe that would get rid of all the cats hairs.
i dont think the hose is replaceable, vax don't list a part number for it to be purchased and it seems to be a permanent fixture. where did you buy it?
i don't see why not, i have cleaned the carpet in the hall which is almost 20 years old and flattened and in pretty poor condition and it brought that up nicely
Fill with water in the first instance and pour back into a measuring jug and use a marker on the device to record the volume. Do the same, with water, for the solution and record in the same way. It's not rocket science.
Just got mine and used for the first time, leaks from under the dirty water tank, no visible sign of where from on the tank itself or where it sits on the machine. Seems to be coming from somewhere under the rubber grommets or inside where the hose connects.
@@ringod123 We've noticed that occassionally, think it might be where there is some water left in the filter or the traps. Doesn't leak when using, just when stored
@@mikesunboxing Nah, mine was literally leaking during use, removed the red cover where the dirty water tank sits and found a clear hose underneath that had a very loose connection to its plastic nipple, pushed it down hard and clamped it on with a cable tie and it doesnt leak anymore.
