For context, I play about 10 Voltaic scenarios, and I broke my previous records in 5 of those! Forgot to talk about the side buttons, they feel really good. No pre/post travel and they require about medium force to actuate
Love how professional and detailed your reviews are. I also like the added touch of testing the mouse on aim training, helps a lot imo. Best peripheral reviewer by far 👌
This video has some great camerawork showing what the mouse looks like, which helps viewers try to understand the shape visually. You also spend a big part of the video talking about the shape, grips and how the shape feels in usage. It's awesome, and I wish all mouse reviewers were like this.
Thats an interesting thing that I've also experienced. The larger the mouse, the higher the conistency. The tradeoff is that pinpoint precision that a very small mouse offers. I guess thats why most pro players, regardless of handsize, use medium mice since they offer the best of both worlds.
I feel...jebaited by Vaxee. When they dropped the intro a week ago, seeing a detachable cable got me very excited assuming it was a wireless mouse. Detachable cable on a wired mouse is an odd take/approach in my eyes. The shape seems to be the most exciting part of this mouse and of course the most important factor of a mouse. Minimal side curvature, what appears to be good bit wider in grip width based on the video and higher compared to FK/RVU makes it very appealing. Although, it also makes it sound very close to GPX, Katana and Haste.
I mean Zowie seems to be getting ready for a wireless version as well so who knows, there might be a revival of the neutral and ergonomic non-logi/razer wireless mouse market!
I performed well with it out of the box too. And that surprised me because I'm definitely not 100% used to it yet. The feet do feel a little rough, but they're semi-fast on faster pads which I'm enjoying.
Great video Haus! This one looks interesting... I'm trying to hold off to get both X2 and X2 mini, but I'm a massive Vaxee fan and this one has my interest....
Excellent review! I'm very happy to see more ambi mice with wide and flat enough sides for my liking. The fact that Vaxee hinted a wireless release of this makes this wired version a hard sell for me though.
Nice to see some manufacturers finally make "flat(ter)-sided" and lower profile mice (this and the Pulsar X2), with my pure fingertip grip it's much more comfortable than the Zowie and Viper shapes. Earlier only the Steelseries Kana/Kinzu/Sensei/Rival line was designed with this in mind but those are old or have poor quality. This mouse looks sexy as hell, I don't know if it's the combination of colors or what... Unfortunately I think it would be too wide.
the way you describe the less aggressive side groove sounds like HyperX Pulsefire Haste. remember last year some ppl also claimed it was a surprise on the market
Yoooo! Great review Haus!!! We're gonna skip this one as it seems a bit large for us but its great to see people enjoying new Vaxee shapes, cant wait to see what else they bring out!
Looking forward to this mouse. Even though I like to fingertip grip for some reason GPX always felt uncomfortable and I like Vaxee buttons a lot better.
Just got this mouse. Don't know if it's honeymoon feeling but it felt amazing in CS:GO for the time being. I actually fingertip the shape and while it's a tad too big for my likings I am able to pull it off. Wish they'd make a wireless XE small! I didn't realise how much I missed the Vaxee clicks lol. Feels amazing. Also the coating is the best I've tried.
My man Hausen looks like f0rest and plays like him and makes insane mouse reviews videos all the time. Good job keep up the good work hausen, thanks for creating so good reviews!
Looks good, first ambi shape and good improvements, cable seems fine I have no problem using wired mice if they are good shape and performance. Thanks for the review, great as always
Hey Haus nice review! Since we have the same hand size and u mentioned pincer claw, what would be your top 3 recommendations for pincer claw at the moment?
I like that the cable is detachable so that it can be easily replaced with perhaps a shorter/longer/different color cable. But not a fan of the @1:39 "fork" connector because it is not standard. I assume the purpose is added stability, but perhaps instead they could have had the USB connector recessed slightly into the casing. Or solid plastics around the connector on the inside of the casing to prevent wiggle room 🤔
This holy triangle thing reminds me of EC2-A which hit my palm in the same way. I guess this has to be ordered even tho the cable is meh. This and Vancer ICE could be it :) GJ on the review!
@@hausgaming vaxee replied, the originally designed xe with wireless in-mind. They are still on track to release a wireless at the end of the year, just not sure what shape yet.(It could be xe)
Hey Haus! Got quite short hands but large in width (17cm x 10.5). Would you recommend this mouse for relaxed claw or may it be too big or rather too long?
i know this might be late but i just got my pink version and the coating was extremely slippery and IMMEDIATELY went online and ordered aftermarket grips. i want to ask if the coating differs with colors. It was ungrippable compared to my DAV3 and lamzu mini black, even my gpx
A bit of a shame hearing that the clicks are similar to the AX. The np01-s has my fav clicks and the AX felt very different and due to less pre- and posttravel a lot less premium
I've tried both the Viper V2 Pro (there wasn't a hump at all, the rear felt obtrusive) and the GPX (the hump was in the middle, not good for my grip style). Do you have any recommendations that would be good for me? (I claw grip aggressively and my hands are 17 x 10.2)
I actually prefer wired mouse so it’s not a deal breaker for me. But the dimensions and size are too big for my 17 cm long and 10 cm wide hand size so a shrunken version of the xe or smaller would be ideal to me. And lastly there is a redditor on mouse review sub he actually likes the xe even for his hand size of 17 cm long x 9.5 wide
XE is somewhat similar to ZA11, but not really. ZA is a very unique shape and 11 is very unique in size as well. Nothing quite like that in the market atm
@@xerenityapexlegends3940 Have you heard of humor? You should try it. The detachable cable clearly implies it's wireless, proven by the various comments I've seen on this mouse. Obviously almost no one will make this error...
It really looks like they were developing a wireless mouse but something went wrong at some stage and they gave up the idea and went for a wired mouse. “Ok guys its half way done, lets lunch as a wired, whatever”. Not joking, I really think something like this might have happened.
