VBS depositors want their funds repaid before arrests are made 

Several depositors who lost money in the VBS collapse are calling for
their funds to be paid back before arrests are made.
Around R1.9 billion was looted from the Limpopo-based mutual bank,
which led to its collapse in 2018.
Former VBS chairperson Tshifhiwa Matodzi was sentenced to an effective
15 years in jail last week for his role in the looting of the funds.
The bank's chief financial officer Phillip Truter was, meanwhile,
released on parole a few months ago after serving just over three of
his seven-year sentence.
