Happy Birthday brotha man. You truly are a gem amongst the vinyl community, and I'm happy to call you a friend. You've brung a smile to my face on bad days also, you have also got me on a Philly soul search now lol. That's so cool that your on the Colemine promo list also! I reached out to them a couple times to attempt to buy promos. I have my fingers crossed next month, they told me to reach out to them the beginning of next month to possibly get a promo copy of Thee Sinseers🤞. Anyways, always remember your a amazing cool cat and you bring a smile to 5,000 faces and going up. Much love brotha man
Happy Birthday Rocco! Not going to lie, I found your channel last year when I decided to take the deep dive into record collecting. Your channel has given me so much happiness and direction and it’s grown to be one of my favorite channels. Thanks to you I’ve discovered so much music both old & new. I’m hoping for a great 2024 and can’t wait to see what the channel brings! Much love Rocco!
Happy late Birthday! I got that same Ghost Funk Orchestra 2 weeks ago from Wax Trax here in Denver and it came with a patch! Great band that I picked up with Badbadnotgood, which if you don't know, modern Canadian Jazz... and it's good! Lol Khruangbin is from Texas and has a really cool surf style to the trio with minimal vocals, but chill, bouncy sometimes and a great groove, if you don't know, check them out and I started with Mordechai. Man or Astro-man? Is surf, that starts out in their beginnings with more traditional surf with a little garage sound, then in their career they morph into a surf garage punk sound, which is really cool all the while throughout all their albums they have cool soundbites and some lyrical matter. Towards the latter releases, they start getting really artsy and a little noisy on some tracks. They are a really cool band that I suggest listening start of their releases to the last in order to really appreciate them, it's a big bite to take on, but their albums by themselves definitely stand strong. Read up on them, theyreVERY interesting and funny dudes. They did the Mystery Science Theater 3000 theme song. Enjoy and thanks for your videos, I'm new to you and dig what you do!
Happy Birthday!!! And thanks for what you’re doing on your channel! Watching your videos I’ve learned about some really cool albums and artists! And you’ve given me a lot of inspiration for my own channel that is growing! So, again, thank you!
Thank you! Just subbed yours! So glad I could help/inspire. Let me know if you ever want to chat about making videos or editing and stuff! Or - about vinyl!
@@PiecesofVinyl I’d love to chat! I need all the help I can get. It’s hard keeping up with making videos as a school teacher tho! Have a hard time deciding on a schedule to release.
