So can composite materials like "rockwood" be worked by hand? Was thinking of using something like that in a build and I don't own a CNC lol

Absolutely! Hand router, scraper, rasp and sand paper!! It is hardwood that has been infused with resin…… so it’s like “stabilized wood” that wood turner’s use.
