@@mrjeffthecustodiani agree. Next day. Finish it before you leave, burnish the following morning. Have to take the tac out of the floor. But even so, after a month, dry mop wont stick anymore after some neutral cleaner with mop and foot traffic.
Since my husband does grocery and retail stores what he does is put 4 to 5 coats of wax after he strips but in the next day he puts 3 or 4 for it can get that glossy shine look and his company always order signature wax and he burnish the floor once he completes the store
Mostly depends on what your school system is able to get. Two schools in the school district I work for use Spartan iShine, at the school I work at I use EcoLab/FaciliPRO Laser and they both produce great shine/gloss especially after burnishing. Spartan On an’ On, Betco Hard As Nails and ZEP High Traffic are good options too.
My school 2 coats of sealer on new floors the 4 to 6 coast of wax. I have been trying out this new was dries is five minutes. If there's Humidity 10 to 15 minutes. The floor finish is called IDP. Also they claim that you would never have to strip again. Time will tell.
@@markman090 OneStep Treatment (daily cleaner) - 25,000 sf / gal When used in an auto scrubber plan on a coverage of 30,000 sf per gallon of treatment. Treatment is typically used at a dilution rate of 4 oz. per gallon (2 cups in a mop bucket) when mopped down. For top scubbing prior to recoat use 8 oz. per gallon dilution rate In auto scrubbers use 2 - 4 oz. per gallon dilution rate. I have not had the time or its to early to see if this really works. I will find out more in the summer time.
