@@25sam111 it's a bathroom 4 inch exhaust fan. One of these fans turns off when you turn the light switch off. Many 4 inch fans are wired to the lighting circuit so turning light off turns fan off. It may be possible the fan has a timer and turns off automatically after 30 minutes of turning light off. Edit many bathrooms have motion _heat sensors that activate the lights without switch or pull cord a sensor would activate fan with light.
