Ive just purchased a vinyl cutter from ebay Australia and it comes with Signmaster software, its neen hard trying to find tutorials on it so would love to see more of these tricks n tips especially for a complete novice so we can start to make shirts and decals from scratch. Subed and notifications are on guys, can't wait to see more. Also, do you guys have some Aussie contacts we can use to buy the consumables you sell? Cheers in advance🙌
Great to hear! We have a handful of SignMaster tutorials here on our channel and definitely have more in the works. We don't have any direct contacts in Australia though. I would recommend you try to find a Siser authorized dealer out there. They're great about teaming up with quality companies. A Siser authorized dealer is probably going to be an auth. dealer for other great heat transfer products as well.
Question 🙋🏽♀️ I have this particular program and I have taken and added images and vectorized over and over. Now I have 2 logos in particular sent by the same individual. When I go to vectorize it turns the image all black and I’m not able to get it to show the full black and white logo. Sometimes it will split screen and the correct logo is above and below it is all black but I can never get it to a point where I can print the black and white logo. Is there a reason for this?
If you purchased SignMaster Pro and/or your Vinyl Systems cutter from us, please email screenshots to support@heatpressnation.com as well as the image in question. Our tech support team will do their best to help troubleshoot the issue.
@@HeatPressNation thank you for responding! I figured it out. Instead of two colors I changed it to 3 and it worked. Not really certain why I’m just grateful that it did work.
Yes, the cutter will likely just poke those points if there's no line connecting them. This may not ruin the transfer, but it will add time to your cut. We'd recommend deleting those excess points for a clean cut.
Hello and HELP! :) Can anyone tell me how to divide an object in half in Signmaster Pro? I have an image I vectorized but I need to divide it in half, because the vinyl only comes in 12 in rolls.....
Hi there! Would you happen to know why I don’t have an option for the vectorize tool in the image tools and options. It only allows me to contour cut or contour wizard? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!
That feature is only available for SignMaster Pro. If you have SignMaster Basic, you'll need to upgrade. If you're working with SignMaster Pro and still having this issue, please reach out to our Tech Support team at support.heatpressnation.com or (800)215-0894.
Most new computers that runs Windows 10 should be able to handle it. There are so many new models that come out throughout the year, it's hard to keep up on the latest models. One thing you do want to remember is that SignMaster is NOT Mac-compatible. So you don't want to get anything from Apple/Mac if you want to run SignMaster.
How would you compare signmaster to flexi I work for a sign shop and we run flexi but at home I’m starting up and have read a lot on signmaster just wanna know the better one but wouldn’t mind knowing both
I tried importing an SVG file from Illustrator into SignMaster Pro 3.5 but it does not show up at all. I went to File > Import & Drag and Drop but nothing. any tips? Is there a plugin for Illustrator for SignMaster or the Edge Cutter? Thanks
The SVG may be formatted in a way that SignMaster cannot recognize OR the image has certain elements that have not been vectorized. Try saving your file as a PDF, then import to SignMaster. We don't have a direct plugin for Adobe Illustrator at this time.
@@HeatPressNation please i need ur help, can i import a file to Signmaster and cut by color select if yes what type of file i should import thank you .
Hey you got a lot of information. Could you help me out. I just got Signmaster cut basic and a machine. I made my logo and it includes lines to make a shape. I made the line thicker but it still only cuts a single line. How can you get it to cut the edges of the line. If that makes sense.
If the objects locked OR are not yet vectorized, you will not be able to change their color. For all unlocked vector shapes, you simply click a color on the palette (toolbar on right side) and that will change the color. You can also go to Tools and open the "Color, Fills, and Pen" tool panel. For additional assistance, feel free to call our Tech Support Team at (800)215-0894.
Yes, you can send items to cut on your VinylSystems cutter. Our version of SignMaster is also compatible with GCC and Graphtec cutters, but those machines typically work best with their own cutting software. If you have another brand cutter, it may not work with our version of SignMaster.
Thank you for all your help! I have sign master and I wanted to see if you could help me figure out how to do the picture inside the number for graduation shirts.
In the vectorization window, there's an option to include/exclude colors that are recognized as the background. This might help. It's the button near the bottom center with the eyeball over a few color swatches.
@@HeatPressNation the option screen only comes up when i push trace button and shows a few option but it only flashes by and doesnt stay up to adjust options
Good video . friend i use ilustrator to separate my colors . bit i know i think ican use my sign master to do that too My problem is how i can send to cut each color to my plotter using this software . u have Any video doing this Thank u
We don't have a video just yet. But here's how it's done: After you click "Send To Cut" you'll be in the Cut Options window. Check the "Separate By Color" box. This will activate a drop-down menu with all of the colors in your file. Click on a color to cut only the elements of that specific color.
Go to Tools -> Design Center -> Outline Tools. This will open the Outline Tools & Module. From there, select an object and you can create an outline or inline effect. To do an inner line, use a negative value (ex "-3.5%") on the Outline (%).
The vectorization feature is designed to convert logos and solid graphics. Photographs, detailed multi-color graphics, and images with gradient effects, will be difficult to vectorize.
SignMaster is a vector design program, so it's not going to have the proper tools to remove the background of an image. For that, you'd want a raster design program like Adobe Photoshop.
this comment is for those who have signmaster CUT+Arms and not the pro version, you cant have the vectorizer tool you can only trace it using that apple buton, tracing tool wont be helping ya trace the art precisely then this is what ypou need to do, you have to export it as pdf from AI or Affinity designer or any software and then add it to the signmaster and ungroup it and here ya go, now you have a more proper vector to use, watch this vid: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-xOOaXz-JQtw.html you are welcome :)
Program just deleted each and every last one of my files. Program started force closing while in the middle of a project. Dimensions no longer print correctly. Ruined projects. Just canceled subscription.
