Trivikram Srinivas is one of the most influential writer and directors in contemporary Telugu Cinema. A gold medalist in Nuclear Physics, he began his journey as a writer before turning director with Nuvve Nuvve in 2002. As a writer, he has played a key role in the success of films like Chirunavvutho, Nuvve Kavali, Nuvvu Naaku Nachav, and Malleswari. After turning director, he went on to direct several popular films including Athadu, Jalsa, Julayi, Khaleja, Attharintiki Daredhi, A...Aa, AravindhaSametha.
His recent film, Aravindha Sametha Veera Raghava has become one of the highest grossing films in Telugu cinema, and it is already the biggest hit in NTRJr and Trivikram Srinivas' career. The film was partly inspired from Mahabharatam, and NTR earned rave reviews for his emotional performance.
In an exclusive interview to Film Companion, Trivikram Srinivas opens up like never before about the influence that Telugu literature has had on him, why he likes writing poetry through dialogues, and why you can never be too sure about a film's success.
