My mother in law was a Veena virtuoso, she got Parkinson's disease about 22 years ago... she was able to play rarely after that. She is bedridden now, I play her this "concert" she enjoys it thoroughly, hugging the bluetooth speaker!🙏❤
Honestly, this music eased my digestive system which was so tensed. Music really has healing effects, so please listen to music and those who can afford to learn playing a Veena, Guitar or Sitar or Sarod or any instrument, please do so.
This is a recording of late Pappu Chandrasekhar garu, who tragically passed away at an young age of 44 in an accident. This recording is haunting, the way he has played Valaji and Kharaharapriya. I don't think anyone else can play the Valaji song Jaalandhara, any better than this. He was as great as Chitti Babu garu in veena playing.
Vaidyanathan gatu! He is my younger brother. My father veterans vainika Sri Pappu someswara rao garu is his guru. My husband is central Sangeeth natak academy 2011 awardee Sri Ayyagari Syama sundaram garu. His demiss is tragic event in our family. Our entire family is a vainika family of AP.
@@jayaworks Madam, you are blessed to be in such a great vainikka kudumbam. My son Vinayak Vaidyanathan is a budding veena artist in Bangalore. His first teacher Smt. Mythili had learnt from Pappu Chandrasekhar garu. It is indeed very nice to discuss with you. Namaskarams.
I thank you for telling us who the vainika was; so sad of the untimely demise. Any idea who were the pakkoms? They sound so good. May your son reach heights of accomplishment in Veena recitals! Narayanakurup Kanthikumar/California
Very peaceful gives lot of confidence vanish our sorrow I really feel better when listening veena music excellent who uploaded this video thanks a lot.
I felt like I got my soul back on track... tears keep flowing, not sure if in joy or in pain? but nonetheless, this album has made me feel something. And i'm grateful for that.
Great 🙏🏼🙏🏼! Splendid and what all adjectives could be used can be used. Marvellous start with Gowrimanohari! Brisk "Gurulekha"! Amazing Kalpana swarams with the style of cutting the pluckings to give clarity to the swarams 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 Appreciating the radiance of the Goddess, the Vainika had reflected the same in his rendition of "Jalandhara" of Sri. Harikesanallur Muthiah Bhagavathar 🙏🏼🙏🏼 When playing "Needayaraadha " - he seems to be approaching God along with the listeners 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 Total bliss! Pranaams for making my day 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
I have no words......Soul purifying music...Simply tears flown without my knowledge....I don't know much about ragas....Simply love music. Music is panchama veda. I greatly indebted to who played Veena, this is really Amrutham! My sincere sashtanaga namaskaram, Regards, Dr. Ashok Anantharamaiah
