My husband and I have been going back and forth on getting the veer. I swear when we first heard about the wagon it was $599. We caved in this month and finally bought it and it was $699! 😵💫 I think after all the accessories it came up to a little less than a thousand. Basically the same price as a higher end double stroller (or maybe a little less but still around the same ballpark). BUT we are so stoked to finally have it after months of contemplating. Loved the video! Very quick and straightforward. 👍🏼
My only problem with this wagon is that even if I'm comfortable with spending this much on a children's wagon I'm not sure I'm comfortable with other people knowing how much I spent on this thing.
Right? We live in a small town and we are the only ones who have it. We get a lot of compliments on our wagon, but the look of it is so iconic that everyone can easily look up the price and it just screams MONEEEEEY. If someone asks, I always feel the urge to defend ourselves (my defense being that we don't own a car (we are not american) and have four children and a dog, so we need sturdy and versatile tools that also fit in public transport...).
Not only each pc add on the price now you have to pack on all the extra small pieces on top of the base model. Imagine when you forget the canopy, the basket, the car seat adapter. And each time you take the wagon out of trunk, you have to install each individual pieces (it’s not like you can fold it down with all those stuff attached onto it). Now compare that to a regular stroller, open it and that’s it, the canopy, the basket all in one.
Honest review, thx. Would have been nice to see it in action on like a hike as you said. Thats the reason i´m looking at this, to take our son and the basic care taking stuff with us on a multiple day hike.
Now that our daughter is 2 and we have a newborn, I saw an add showing the wagon with the attachment for a car seat! Almost had me sold as the internet strategically put the add on social media after I was searching for double strollers! What an awesome product! Either way, you're looking at about a grand for a higher end double stroller. This is pretty neat.
Now that these have been out for a while I would let people know if they really want one to look in the used market. We got one with 2 years of use on it and a ton of accessories adding up to over $1200 with the wagon. We snagged it for $800 off Facebook marketplace. For what we paid I'm very happy with it. I would also stress that this is not a stroller it's a wagon that is expensive because of its versatility and its going to take way more of a beating than all those other cheap folding kid wagons. Anyway nice honest review, thanks for sharing!
I’m glad you commented this! I found one (like new condition- used once) for all the added accessories for $600 and I was considering if it’s a good deal, but I’m definitely going to pick it up today considering you paid $800 for a 2 year old one.
Thank you! My kind of review! We feel the same way about the price (especially my husband haha and he laughed the entire time each time you mentioned the price). He wanted to see things that the commercials didn’t show and he saw everything he wanted to see on here.
Just had my second child after 18 years! Last week I bought a prom dress and diapers. I enjoyed the honest review I plan on purchasing one! I feel if you use it a lot it's worth it!
Great review ... I'm just happy that we found it online with a freaking discount for 499.00. So now I can spend the 200 bucks on all the accessories LOL
Love your honest review but I'm back at square one. I know it's a badass wagon but damn that price tag though. I wanted the Veer two years ago and here I am wanting it again but I just can't justify the price tag. I guess I'll revisit this video a few months from now when I'm questioning myself again.
What about a flat bottom for sleeping? It has seats and then a lower middle section for feet. Is it possible to make the interior floor flat for sleeping?
I saw your review of the even flow, then noticed you had a review for this one. What was the reason that you go the Veer if you already had the evenflow? Did the evenflow die?? lol How long did the evenflow last you? Thank you!!!
Thanks for watching. The even flow was good. My boys are a little rough and I felt they need a more stable one when it came to both boys. I thought the even flow was great for one toddler:-)
How old do you think or how long would you use it for? I have a 3.5yo and a 6month…. It’s sitting in the box right now and debating on returning it. Still on the fence
I have a 3.5 year old and 8 month old. I bought it when my first was 1.5 because we knew we were going to wait a bit for another baby and we thought our first would be more likely to sit in the wagon for a few more years than a stroller. When our first was younger his 5-7 year old cousins would join him sitting in it. My kids both love the wagon.
It’s honestly frustrating that not one company has come up with a better design haha. The evenflo brand is okay but again it’s lacking storage space I mean seriously the size of the basket seems small.. it’s got the canopies but I just wish like they had risen it a little and added an underneath storage area similar to how strollers have already.. there were a few things missing on that design. And if you have young kids that tend to fall asleep how can they sleep comfortably.. also they could have allowed use of the stroller skateboard attachment on it since it’s the same branding..these were all missing from the drawing board. I have a 1 year old and 3 year old… gonna have to shop around and see what can meet our needs the best. Thanks for the review!
"Is it worth it? Probably not? No." "Am I glad we have it? Absolutely." This is the most honest review ever lol. It sounds like you could chuck this thing off of a building and it wouldn't break, so the value proposition is really if you need the durability to justify the price tag/weight. Sounds like its not worth it if you're just walking around the neighborhood sidewalks, but if you do a lot of hiking/camping or other outdoors activities the value might be there. Also sounds like you need two kids of close enough age to make it work. We'll have two kids about three years apart and do a lot of outdoors stuff so hopefully it's worth it.
“Sit like Animals”😂🤣. Are you still happy with it? Was wondering when you push it the smaller wheels don’t go everywhere.. feels counter intuitive... Keep it up🙌🏻
"Is it worth it? Probably not. I mean, no! Is expensive as hell! but am I glad we have it? Absolutely!" (insert Facepalm emoji here) It is so annoying to watch videos of people complaining about the price of something they clearly like.
Is it American thing? I’ve never used wagon with my kids and it seems a bit useless. I mean why if there are so many nice light strollers…why need to buy this extremely heavy shopping cart
Good overview of product but not a real review overall. You’re a meh yes/no maybe… you’re too scared to say that it’s just plain old expensive and prob not worth it for most people. Not sure why you hesitate to say that?
Thanks for watching. I totally agree it’s over priced. But I hesitate because it is sooo good. I’m torn as I sounded in it. I appreciate the input for sure!
