If you use topside it shouldn't have any defects unless it set too quick before pouring

How much jel-it-tin powder? Not sure how much is in a sachet, lol. I'll be using agar agar.

I had a fair result with agar agar, purchased from Woolworths in Australia. Commercial plates make life easier, though home made is more responsive. In the tropics any effort to keep home made plates over time is a pain.

Hi - thanks for your video! My first plates are cooling. I’m wondering about care of the plate. I watch artwhisper88, and he uses baby oil to clean and refresh his commercial gelli plate. Do you use baby oil or anything else on your vegan plate? Or just wash it occasionally with soapy water? Thanks!

It was difficult to follow along with this, perhaps it would be easier to overlay a sound track afterwards so you can collect your thought? What quantities of water did you use in mL? Not familiar with cups! What does the salt do? Have to say your gelli plates look far better than mine, which seems to not be smooth.

If I new how to over lay a sound track Steve I would Sorry , 250ml in a cup . Salt stabilisers the mixture. 😀 have fun
