I've been vegan 3 years now, and mostly I feel great, but the other day I stubbed my toe and it really hurt, so I think I gotta go back to exploiting animals
sure, exploiting plants is not a panacea either. your logic, as well as your humor, suffer from serious shortcomings, but one of the positive sides of animal exploitation is that at least you have more friends who understand you
@@v.a.n.e. maybe go reply in the last conversation we were having instead of just feeling triggered and looking for more conversations to insert your idiocy

Here´s an anecdote: I had crippling anxiety as an omnivore, severe panic attacks almost weekly, I was considering applying for disability and quitting my one part-time job. Number of panic attacks since going vegan in 2021: 0. Working two jobs, happier and healthier than ever.
@@richardcardinale7152 I'm so sorry to break this to you but that really isn't how any of this works. 🤣 Do you really think the anxiety is like "She's vegan now, let's wait five years and then reappear!"? 🤣
I'm happy that you feel so much better. I have a family member who suffers from the same. It's so limiting for them. (They're omnivore, but I don't see that as a cause of it. I do think it would be good for them to go vegan, but I'm not pushing that. They do eat a lot of my vegan food quite happily but going entirely vegan needs to be their own decision.)
I know he's full of it, because I'm alive, healthy, and not depressed after not eating animals for over 50 years. Meanwhile most others my age are either dead or dealing with degenerative diseases.
Vegan for 34 years, extremely healthy and pill-free. I'm not yet old enough for most of my non-vegan peers to have died, but very few of them are doing well, and all of them are on at least one pill for hypertension, cholesterol, or some other food-based ailment. Of course, in their minds none of that has anything to do with food choices; it's all about bad luck in the genetic lottery.
I have been a vegan since 1963, only have one problem with the thyroid over the last 4 years , due to working in a CADMIUM lab and doing chemistry for 50 years, other than that no worries CHEERS
Older American vegan here, MDs and such I deal with are usually startled that I have no significant markers that show ill health and take no meds, other than vitamins B12 and D. I started taking D when I way an omnivore, who ate a fair amount of fish, and ate lots of dairy products, because my MD told me to, and I am old enough that B12 is recommended whatever my diet. As an omnivore I was healthy by US standards, asthma and autoimmune disease mediocrely controlled by meds. Diet switch meant I lost the autoimmune disease, dropped steroid inhaler, and haven’t used my rescue inhaler in years. I am so sick of people making themselves rich lying about vegan diets. I am old enough I have lost a fair number of friends to illnesses that can often be reversed by switching to a healthy vegan diet, and am looking at losing my siblings. I ate a healthy, non fast food, nonprocessed omnivore diet, and it failed me. The drop in CRP Mic mentions is not a little thing.
@@richardcardinale7152 if 6 years is "on the line" where does me thriving for 15 years put me? Lmao, Can we see your blood work so we can have an idea what you think "healthy" looks like? When you realize you are failing, I hope you consider a 100percent whole food plant based diet 😂
I became wfpb to reverse diabetes 18 months ago. I had peripheral neuropathy, retina problems with one emergency surgery and fainting spells. Lipids cholesterol and triglycérides in normal range. Visceral fat decreased froM 7 to 3, biological age reduced to 57, I am 61. Congratulations, that is so fantastic!! There was a line in The Simpsons were Manjula chides Apu to spend some time with his children instead of "selling fatty poisons to Americans", and it just really struck me. Sad how so many Americans in particular are harming themselves, bite by bite :( But, congrats again on those lifestyle changes!! Life must be amazing and so much more enjoyable 🌞😎
Wow ! I use to watch High Intensity Health all the time . I was really thrown back when he came up with this study. I haven't had red meat in 43 years chicken fish and dairy 35 years . I'm 68 . I squat 175, bench press 110, deadlift 175 curl 60 pounds 70 on a good day. Haven't been sick in over 40 years., all on a plant base diet.
Yes, if you want muscle you exercise, simple as that. I have not eaten meat since 1970. No dairy or eggs since 2011. Same weight as my whole adult life and healthy as ever at 65. Recently learned to hold handstands much longer, and can once again do backbends after having some problems with it in my twenties (was born with a curved spine). I also do my splits better than ever and learned to do the crow and more. Getting better at everything right now, and it's because of exercise and general health. If I had covid I didn't notice. No vaccine, but I tried to protect the weak in other ways. I've had 3 light colds in 12 years. As a vegetarian I had them every year, though.

When I ate animal products and was fat AF, my PCOS was horrible, my fibroids hurt me often, my thyroid was out of control, I was a diabetic, high cholesterol, high BP, plus I was in physical pain in my joint, I was on antidepressants all this stuff! I went plant based and within a few months I was off all meds, my PCOS and fibroids are never painful now and I've lost over 120 pounds. I hate people like this.
Omg I can totally relate, I had the worst cramps, debilitating on the first day, and super crazy heavy. After going vegan, no more cramps and lighter flow, also it went from 8 days to 5 days. Day 1, I used to be in so much pain and drained, no energy, after going vegan energy was fine and no cramps, like some kind of miracle. Also used to be anemic, went away after going vegan. I went vegan despite being anemic out of compassion and the unforseen rewards were truly great ❤
No major surprise that people are healthier if they are not overweight, but that tells us next to nothing about vegan vs. not. Not all people that eat meat are overweight and many vegans are actually underweight also and not getting optimal protein intake.
Ha ha, well, we do save some money not buying meat but I hear you. My job gives me daily angina, but eating meat won’t make my company hire more people, or create logical structures for our work.
Actually, you may be deficient in lithium. Its a little known essential mineral that helps with cortisol regulation. Try getting it tested with your doctor, or you can try lithium orotate OTC 1-5mg. It has lots of interactions though so please check with your doctor beforehand. I take it instead of lithium carbonate, prescribed by psychiatrists for bipolar disorder and I have been in remission since I have started. ❤ I hope this helps.
Nonono, a steak would make you forget all you problems. Leucine is just magical. It magically makes money appear on your bank account. That’s why vegans are poor.
I recently stopped my antidepressants, under a doctors supervision, after taking them for over 20years. I really attribute this to my vegan diet. I'm not going to give medical advice, just my personal experience. I can only say going vegan really helped!
Antioxidants have been found to be helpful in treating depression. Plant based diets tend to include higher amount of antioxidant rich foods, so this makes sense. I can’t recall the study, but I believe Mike did a video showing that animal products (forget whether it was a specific product or nutrient, such as saturated fat) increased rates of depression. I’m happy that you’re well after all these years. That must be a tremendous relief.
No, I’m sorry, that guy saw some people in a grocery store - probably vegan - who had chips & cookies in their cart. Ergo: veganism debunked! Can’t argue with science, man.

The Rich Roll part was so ridiculous. That was from a podcast with Peter Attia as a guest, where Attia mentioned that he was having the same issues a few years back, when he was much younger than Rich Roll and eating a meat heavy diet. Could he be more biased? 😂
Back injuries are very common among gym bro's lacking real training out to break their personal best in a deadlift. It has nothing to do with diet. Attia has even talked about the foolishness of his lifting routine in the past.
He doesn't actually do that good of a job. It's recency bias. I'd also like to mention that Mic doesn't look as healthy as he used to. I like Mic though, but he's been debunked many times by science. He's very selective as well. Just saying
When I went vegan 5 years ago, I reversed heart disease, type 2 diabetes & hypertension. Also my depression & anxiety, which I had suffered from for many years, totally disappeared. I'm now the healthiest & happiest I've ever been 😊
Well done Mic! After 38 years of back issues, with being bed ridden for 6 days at some stage, with being off work for a month at some stage, with 7 months of pilatus physio, with many other physio visits, doctors visits, chiropractor visits, I can report that by far the best thing for my back was moving towards a whole food plant based diet.
@@snubdawg1386 Since 2013. After open heart surgery I decided to start my own diet-health research from scratch. Starting with the question: Where on the omnivore scale from 99.9% plants to 99.9% animal food is the healthiest and do we live the longest.
The whole B12 thing is such bs. My Grandmother who ate predominately meat had full on dementia from lack of B12. Also, my mom who has always eaten a lot of meat is now on a once-a-month B12 shot, that I have to give her. Some people are prone to not absorbing B12 like they should. Me? I faithfully take my B12 supplement every day because I KNOW that animal protein or plant protein humans just don't get enough B12.
@Michael T If you're concerned about natural nutrients, you can get your b12 from bivalves. Like plants , bivalves don't have a brain, and so they can't mind if we eat them.
@@jeffk464 The Dr. said it was definitely the lack of B12. And the reason my mother started the B12 shots is because she started having memory issues and neuropathy, so they checked her B12, and it was severely low. So, I have my Dr. check my B12 every year.
My anecdote: I run faster than I did in high school as long distance athlete as a vegan pushing 40. My vegan pregnancies were healthier and vegan deliveries easier. My mental health since being vegan has been incredibly better than when I was a carnist/omnivore. Although, I have also been sober this whole time so I think that also contributes to this. On the superficial side, I get told I look 25-28 even though I am almost 40. My skin is always clear and I had never achieved that as an ominvore. What I appreciate most about being vegan is what is had done for my me empathetically speaking. I feel and long to act for the betterment of the planet, the animals, and my fellow humans having lived nearly 7 years with this kind of empathy and love.
Frankly speaking I've been far less depressed since going vegan, even though our trajectory as a species is far more bleak than it has ever been, and worries me. the far reaching power of disinformation echo chambers , is especially worrisome. Also, I'm kinder and more patient since being vegan. Also it cured my anemia. Also my hair, nails and skin have improved tremendously. Mind you , I generally eat healthy, clean, lots of fresh greens and fruits , which has likely contributed. If I were a junk food vegan I'd probably be no better off than a carnivor
@@Gaia_Seraphina By eating properly, you eating disordered buffoon. It's called food, shocking, i know. Legumes, greens, grains, etc, all have an abundance of bioavailable iron, bioavailability naturally increased further by vitamin C. Don't blame veganism just because you don't know how to eat in the first place.
@Gaia Seraphina so when I went vegan I did it for compassionate reasons/ethics despite being anemic. I didn't know that anemia could be reversed. So it's just something that happened within less than a year of going vegan. It was a long time ago so there weren't many fake meats and cheeses, they weren't tasty and didn't interest me. I didn't know how to be vegan, there wasn't any social media yet. So I just the same except that my salads became the bulk of my meal where previously it was a small side dish. And I used to make fresh apple juice and pop it in the blender with 2 cups kale, a banana and about 1 cup frozen blueberries . That was my appetizer, I'd drink it while making dinner. I'm just typing anything I can remember about the early days bc that's when the anemia got reversed. Also, I cut out wheat and sugar, I'd use banana to sweeten my cookies and cakes. In place of wheat, I'd put oats in a food processor and turn it into flour . Also I started eating a much greater variety of vegetables and in larger quantities to replace the meat. B4 the veggies were just a tiny portion of my meal with meat being the bulk. I loved meat. Breakfast lunch and dinner. Beef lamb pork chicken fish seafood. Once in a while I crave lobster and shrimp but it passes quickly and it's always when I haven't eaten enough. However, the smell of meat cooking males my stomach turn and burns my nostrils, though I'll be honest, I did crave meat the first few years but the knowledge of the suffering of the animals easily kept me steadfast. I also used to make butternut squash curry alot , something I never used to eat. And next day I'd turn the leftovers into cutlets using the squash and oatflour. I'd steam broccoli, pulse it in the processor with onions and garlic salt pepper, then pulse in the oatflour for broccoli cutlets. Beans weren't really on my radar, but I did make a pot of lentil vegetable soup weekly. For my morning lattes I used ricemilk in place of dairy milk. That apple juice kale blueberry smoothie was a daily thing, kept it up for first few years, until life changes didn't allow for enough time. Now I use water instead of apple juice. That's all I can remember. hopeIt helps ❤ Edit I just remembered, back then I stayed away from soy, unless it was fermented (miso), bc I had read it caused hormonal imbalances and it scared me lol I eat alot of organic tofu now, love it.
I have an identical twin brother. I’m vegan, he’s not. I have more hair and better health. I’d say our overall happiness is comparable. But aside from my the anectotal evidence; I don’t care if being vegan is more or less healthy than being an omnivore. I care about the animals and environment and if that means I live a shorter less healthy live, so be it; so far it works out fine for me (veggy for 20 years, vegan for 6).
All these people that state "vegetable are toxic" are really getting annoying, LOL. They act like just because a food has oxalates, lectins, phytates, etc, that we're just killing ourselves.. come on.

I went vegan while working a physical labor job. Literally only changed my diet and lost 120+lbs and have been gaining muscle without much effort 🎉 i can do SO many push ups now!!🎉 lol😂
Yeah nobody is going to gain more muscle due to going vegan because objectively vegans get less protein from diet on average and are often not in the optimal intake range. Losing weight might be due to going vegan, but gaining muscle not unless you mean from side effects like that the lost weight makes you go out and train more often.

My depression and anxiety is near 0 since i went plant based, it’s actually one of the biggest reasons i’m sticking to plant based diet, as through experimentation, i know for a fact meat is the culprit here(for me personally). As for alcohol, again, i feel no need to drink now, whereas before, i would often feel the need to either drink wine or even beer after meals. It certainly has its drawbacks too, but mental health or substance abuse are hardly some of them.
i was also, and still am. diet doesn't resolve childhood trauma. my depression comes from being alone and neglected, and not feeling loved. it is depression caused by other people, and it can only be healed by other people. not by food.

I believe the interview was with Dr. Peter Attia. Dr. Attia is Omnivore and has severe back pain in the past, lasted a very long time and has some psychological issues, which is written in his latest book. I listen to RR and Dr. Attia. Both incredible and knowledgeable people. It is unfortunate that we has people like the one you are talking about that have no clue about a plant based diet and puts out terrible information about vegans. Thank your videos!
Hearing that people want to follow such a barbaric lifestyle and blindly follow guys like that kind of make me feel depressed. 😢 But, not a vegan diet- which has actually reversed or slowed most of the health issues that I had collected from my lifetime of an omnivore/SAD diet.
I've been vegan for 9 years and have had anxiety issues for my whole life. For me, going vegan didn't make it go away and it didn't make it worse either. We shouldn't pretend that being vegan will make all our problems go away. Diet is a huge part of health, but there are so many other factors to consider too.
Ten years WFPB. 65 years-old. Currently close to completing a transcontinental bicycle ride from San Diego to St Augustine, FL. But maybe I should just quit since I'm obviously so unhealthy.
6 years of keto/carnivore left me with health issues this man is trying to put on veganism: sarcopenia (and a big one, I was skin and bones), suicidal thoughts (I asked my brother to take care of my son if something should happen to me), joint destruction (left knee, right thigh, wrists), hair loss and hair thinning due to high cortisol and my thyroid slowly giving up on me, much more frequent migraines than I'd experienced before dropping carbohydrates (this was the reason why I started the keto experiment), nausea, cyclical vomiting syndrome (once a month lasting 3 days - pure agony), EXTREME methane SIBO (and I mean EXTREME), painful bowel movements every 6 days, arrhythmia and pain in the chest (I couldn't sleep on the left side for the last year on this diet), cholesterol nearly 400, LDL 270. Since I transitioned back to eating 99% plants (which was painful, I killed many of the beneficial bacteria species by eating little to zero carbs) the only thing I am left with and still trying to heal is painful joints but I understand it must take time. If anyone has been suffering from arthritis of any kind and managed to heal on a vegan diet, I'd be grateful for some tips. I still eat 80 g of sardines in olive oil once a week, other than that, zero animal foods.
If you want to go fully vegan , you can swap the sardines for bivalves such as oysters and mussels. Like plants, bivalves don't have brains , so they can't mind if we eat them . I like to grill them in garlic butter.
I'd ditch the sardines and olive oil, these do nothing good for your health. The fish in our oceans are all polluted with plastics, pesticides and whatnot and no oil is healthy, pufa oils get rancid really quickly forming the toxic hydroxynonenal and olive oils isn't a pufa but a mufa but still has 12% saturated fat.
Long term Fasting or long term exercise gets rid of most autoimmune disease and maybe cancers due to the breaking down / autophagy of faulty cells. Healthy eating wont breakdown autoimmune cells but does reduce inflammation from them and rebuilds healthy cells that have been broken down fom fasting or exercise.
@@ttt72772 Thank you. I have a very unpleasant experience with fasting maybe beacuse I had severe electrolyte imbalance due to zero carb diet when I tried to water fast. I know that autophagy starts at 15-16hr fast so I hope now when my electrolytes are pretty much ok I can handle it. Yes, when I don't eat the pain subsides. It must be autoimmune.
Vegan 6 years now, healthier than ever, never going back. Thank you Mic for the effort you put into these videos, it's comically easy to debunk these people. Where are all these deficiencies and symptoms I should be having?!?! Haha I strength train and run, recovery is fantastic, and I'm actively building muscle. The biggest thing that hits me when I see videos like his is that they feel so dated. Like stop talking about b12, Vit D, protein, etc. We get it and it's not even an issue. Do one google search about how to get these on a vegan diet and the debate is over. Seriously. I think if they are honest and try to actually debunk veganism... they'd fail and wouldn't have a video to post.
I was low carb for years and I was able to maintain a good weight during that time, but eventually it caught up to me and I had neurological damage. Eaten plant-based with plenty of fruit and starch healed me.
I failed at a vegetarian diet in high school mainly because of parties and social events not being vegetarian friendly. Also that was 13 years ago and I wasn’t vegan just vegetarian. Tried again in college and it stuck. It is difficult being vegan in a non vegan world. Most places nowadays are starting to have vegan options but they are usually one option or a pathetic salad. The social aspect of being different also makes it hard.
It depends right. (UK, plymouth) everywhere at least has a vegan option although its usually burger thats available option. But there are two 100% vegan. It easy enough to grab 4 types of lunch including 1 sushi option. I think its stagnated a bit but hopefully more options and 100% vegan places appear thats not just one or two.
I've been vegan for 13 years, vegetarian for many more before that. I am now 64 and never get sick, don't hsve a weight problem and my last blood pressure check was 117/70 even though I had a lot of salty food the day before . I also find I have a quicker recovery from muscle soreness after working out. I have 2 friends (one heavy, one very thin) that eat loads of dairy and have osteoporosis and high blood pressure . They won't listen to me to go vegan
I've been vegan for 6+ yrs. Last week an incident happened where I needed to eat but there was nothing except for animal milk yogurt. I had 2 servings of it 3 days ago and my knees and ankles are still inflamed. I cant point to anything else except for the dairy. I dont ever have this problem.
This stuff is so insane to people like us who’ve been vegan for years and thriving. I had a few IBS issues (that I had before being vegan), all I needed to do was bump up my fermented foods and it’s gone. He talks in anecdotes, so that’s why I’m giving mine. Feeling better than I have since I was in my early 20s. I’m 38, BMI is 19.4. No prescriptions.
You slam dunked on his ass! Please respond to Dr.Thomas seyfried. His claims on cancer are in stark contrast to whole food plant based or higher carb . I haven’t seen one plant based Doctor address this. Thank you Mic. Your the undisputed champion.
The term vegan just says what is NOT eaten, it doesn't say anything about what exactly is being eaten which makes all the difference where diet is concerned. Seeing as how there is no one way to do a vegan diet, some vegan diets can be very healthy while other vegan diets can be very unhealthy. It all depends on what exactly is eaten in the diet.
It's kind of hard to watch these people say the same crap. I'm glad you are here to debunk them. I like hearing your info but i can't stand watching their clips
I’m turning 60 this year… sure I could lose some weight but I just had my blood work for my annual physical and my cholesterol is at 184! Everything else was perfect! I take no medication for anything except an occasional acid reflux( something I’ve had my entire life). I went vegan about 6 years ago…. I did it for a year and then I decided to add fish to my diet. I’ve been pescatarian ever since. Although I don’t eat it very often. Mostly beans and tofu over here… you can’t argue with your blood work.
Thanks Mic. You can find anything to corroborate or negate anything on the internet. Such a mine field. Happily vegetarian since 1985 and vegan since 2017. I’ve never felt better. 🌱💪🏻🤗
Mic, re: the whole back and joint pain thing over 50... I can only speak from my own experience here, but I have back and joint issues. After consulting several docs and trying a myriad of healing modalities, I have come to some conclusions. 1) You can wreck your future body unwittingly by eating like crap (meaning, junk food, sugar, oils, eating out of balance, etc.), not exercising at all or properly, being overweight, or being stressed out when you're younger. So, you younger folks? Get informed and take care of yourself. Your future body with thank you. 2) I've been getting my bloodwork done very regularly to see if my diet/lifestyle tweaks are pulling my numbers down. The ONLY thing that has worked on getting my inflammation markers down has been a WFPB (including no oil and sugar and low salt) diet. Does that mean I advocate that for everyone? Nope. But I am saying that it's brought my weight down, my pain down, and blood numbers down. The reality of all those issues coming up after 50 may just be flower that bloomed from what was planted earlier... if you get me.
In society meat eating has gone up, yet he blames depression on people eating more plantbased. When they don't. Ok. I've been irritaded on this guy's blatant bias and misinformation for a while.
I keep wondering about the motivation of these die hard meat eaters. Like… why?! When they want to convince people veganism is dangerous and they know they’re lying, is it just a way of being defensive about eating meat when they know they shouldn’t? Would be an interesting video to delve into the psychological phenomenon of these meat lovers. I always wonder about it and I can’t figure it out.
Depression in my life was associated with my overconsumption of dairy, McDonalds, Chick-fil-A, Whataburger, etc. etc. etc. I was also consuming processed foods including milk chocolate, sugar laden processed cakes, cookies, "protein bars" etc. etc. etc. Zero veggies and fruits.
Re vegans and depression: After becoming an ethical vegan and realizing there’s realistically no end in sight for the torture of animals because of people’s stubborn desire to eat them and their excretions, I became pretty depressed. RU-vidrs like this one being debunked who refuse to have an ounce of compassion or look at actual unbiased data breaks my heart for the animals. And I’m sad for those whose health is harmed because of perpetuating misinformation from animal eaters.
All you say is true, and it is heartbreaking, but veganism is growing despite far reaching corporate carnist propaganda. There is a bright light, hang in there ❤
Vegan for 15 years. Get blood tests every year. The only vitamin deficiency that I had was Vitamin D which is low in most North Americans irrespective of diet type. I supplement with D and B12 but I’ve never been low in B12 even when I didn’t supplement the first 5 years I was Vegan. All protein comes from plants. Most animals that these folks eat are herbivores.
I have adult grandchildren and and a genetic disorder that causes joint problems. Going vegan about 6 years ago has helped my joints to the point where I’m off painkillers. I’m also not taking cholesterol medication and I’m off one of my blood pressure meds. It’s taken time for all this to happen, but I felt better and had more energy within a few days. Just saying LOL
Wow! So glad you did this video! I saw Mike Mutzel's post a couple days ago and was appalled by how sloppy it was. What the heck happened to him? I've always respected his exercise advice but now I'm suspect.
@@TomasGrannNo he's not. He's specifically focusing on how "nutrient deficiencies may be present on a plant based diet" because animal foods aren't present. He makes essentially no mention of the much larger percentage of the population eating animal foods that is also nutrient deficient. Example - about 0.5% of the country is vegan, yet over 75% of the country is vitamin D deficient. Even if EVERY vegan was D deficient, 3/4 of everyone else is also vitamin D deficient. His logic suggests D deficient carnivores should simply eat more meat. This is nothing more than a thinly veiled and poorly executed hit piece on vegans. And for the record, no, I'm not vegan.
@@jackvegas3705 Yes, to my point of deficiencies, such as a plant based diet very much can contribute to. Is he really stating such logic in suggesting more meats, greater chances for solutions? I got the memo he advocated for a omnivorous way of eating and sees solely plant eating to be of concern. I don’t subscribe to the idea that because none vegans are also deficient (example vitamin d you give, which is an issue bigger than only in regard to food intake), thus plant based is somewhat standing in a neutral position. That’s in my opinion a lazy way of reasoning and ignores the bigger picture, one that plants and avoidance of meats will most probably not fix. Well I guess it’s of curtesy that you inform me you’re not vegan, but regardless, I don’t care. I hope you and others see through team-A versus team-B and are able to make a better quality of living by finding out for themselves what works and what doesn’t. That’s why I like to read vegans write about good results just as the ‘opposite’ that is nowadays carnivores, and with that said, wishing you to eat and live good in the bright future of yours.
As a non-vegan, i used to suffer from almost daily joint pain. Since switching to a vegan diet about 7 years ago. My only regret about going vegan is not doing it sooner
My extensive bloodwork would prove him wrong. VERY wrong. My BP is normal, lower than when I was an omnivore. Vegan for over 6 years now. Husband's atherosclerosis was reversed after 5 years on a vegan diet. Extensive and expensive tests proved it. He did not set out to do that, he was having chest pain. Turned out to be a pinched nerve in the shoulder/clavicle area due to bursitis and arthritis in his shoulder. Cardiologist had never seen a reversal of atherosclerosis and asked husband how he did it. Answer: I went vegan, nothing different other than that. lol Wish vegan diet would help his shoulder but "no-go". His shoulder was problematic before he went on vegan diet btw. He thought and had been told with no tests, repetitive motion strain. uh......no ! It gradually got worse, got a CAT scan, he has appointment coming up to get shots and see if that helps.
Great video! I am horrified by the Internet sometimes. Someone is utterly unskilled unlocking an understanding regarding research can present themselves in a relatively convincing matter to others, who also do not have the skill such a shame.
So the guy quotes studies saying that most people in this country are unhealthy, yet most people in this country are not whole food plant based vegans.......so it's the vegans fault that everyone else is unhealthy???
I was going to watch it but then i knew it was going to be biased 😂 thanks for debunking it. All i can say is 60percent of americans are overweight or obesed and that is certainly not from plant based diet
Collagen, or any protein, is broken down during digestion. If you would need to eat collagen, you would also need to eat a zillion other proteins directly.
These people are the same people who think that when you eat a steak it magically transforms into new biceps or addcutors in your body. They are magical thinkers, like kids who still believe in Santa.
I'm not a 100% vegan. But I have given up cows milk. I give it up back in 2020 and I don't even miss it. I eat more fiber now than I used to. Which makes me feel a lot better.
