Typically this soup is made without garlic or green onion. Choose good ingredients and you'll make delicious miyeokguk. : )

Korean tradition Seaweed Soup is delicious for all occasion. Thank you for your recipe. Like to know instead for soup base can use either Korean Organic Miso or Soy paste. Kindly advice.❤🇸🇬🇰🇷

This is a clear soup based on soup soy sauce. I personally wouldn't recommend doenjang, which is soybean paste, but if you are adventurous foodie, why not?! : )
