Y'all... the way Elaine talked about her own Mac and cheese got me rolling. I am in literal tears, 1. you use onions in yours but you don't like onions in Mac and cheese... okay. 2. it taste like there is milk in the dish that is supposed to be vegan... but you made it... okay. 3. it taste like its been rushed and thrown toget - Elaine. wait a minute, this is YOUR DISH!

I realized for vegan mac we gotta give up on the sprinkling on top - just melt the whole thing in the roux, pour it in the baking dish, and bake it as is. It gets all golden brown and bubbly like we want bc of the already melted cheese

I love when the blind testers aren't overly critical of others to make themselves look better. I also love that we get a chef that isn't overly critical either! She has genuine passion for making her food the best she can. You can tell because she recognized her food IMMEDIATELY and started picking it apart to improve it later.
