vegeta is the most influential character ever, he never gave up even after he was out classed by goku all the time, he still tried beating him as hard as he could, but now his power is matched to goku's because he finally got the ssgss form and, goku doesn't have anything stronger then that.

My favorite part is when Vegeta was fighting Kid Buu...yeah he got brutalized, but staying on his feet while that outclassed the entire time to allow Buu to be defeated? Insanity.

I love Vegeta so much that its gotten to a point where I can't describe exactly why he's my favorite character in any media I've been exposed to. I mean I love his attitude, his jokes, his attacks, his family( Seriously I like them more than I would if they weren't Vegeta's family. ) his voice, his design and most of all his character arc. He develops more than anybody else in DBZ and a lot of other animes, he goes from this punk kid who got whatever he wanted and was told he was better than everyone to someone who married the richest woman on Earth where he got whatever he wanted and told everybody he was better than them....Okay he's still stuck up but now he can admit there are three people who give him a challenge. Two of which are gods and the other can turn into one....But at least that's something. But no really he's changed, I mean I never like thinking of any of the movies before BoG as cannon but in one of them I'm pretty sure Vegeta takes this super powered attack head-on to save a building full of strangers, he would've been the one firing the attack back in the day. He even sacrificed his own life to save Trunks and while it didn't stop Buu it allowed Trunks and Goten to escape so that they could train to 'kill' Buu which basically translates to 'stall for Goku' but they couldn't have done that without Vegeta. He was even so cross with Goku for leaving their sons when the planet blew up. However I know he has tons, and tons of problems. Mostly stemming from his pride. I was so mad at him for not blowing up Dr. Gero's base when he could've, or not attacking Cell so Cell could get stronger, and then fighting his Trunks when he had the good sense to want to kill Cell. Or being so dumb and obsessed about beating Goku so as to let Bobbity into his mind to become stronger. ( Tho I won't lie it was awesome when he refused to be controlled by him. ;>) Honestly aside from the Kais and Bulma in most scenes he's the most annoying character in the show. But most of my favorite characters are jerks, like Gajeel, Hiei, Tao Ren, Gary Oak, Gruffi Gummi( Don't you judge it's a great show.) Giroro, Shizuo( Though he's just got a temper, he's not a real jerk.) Bass and many, many others. It's actually somewhat worrying. But even through the good times and the bad, through his awesome and less awesome moments, I still love him. But even the reasons I mentioned don't cover it all because as I said, I don't know why I like him more than some of my other favorites listed above or a character who might be second or third fav, Roronoa Zoro, but Vegeta is Vegeta and that's good enough for me.

I have respect for akira... For letting us have Vegeta The Siyan Prince... 💜

Vegeta is one of the best characters on Dragon ball z, gt, super etc. He was the prince of Saiyans who became Gokus second in command basically. He knew Goku was the legendary super Saiyan and it's like he became what nappa was to him, but obviously he had way more pride being the prince of all Saiyans - only vegeta would fight whole heartedly with pride and purpose and if u look at this saga vegeta knew majin buu would not stop until he destroyed the earth and he sacrificed his own life for earth.."even for you KAKAROT"
