Love this! One time, I did not have lemon juice, so I used Sum-mah (dried sumac berry) and it turned out well as a variation.

+SmileyGirl230 Ah yes, the Pomegranate Syrup. Actually, I like the dibs al rimen added to Koosa-Meshee, gives it more of a tart, taste.

Great video - clear and informative! I like that coffee pot trick on top as water provides an excellent weight on the top. Nice presentation too with the the lemon slices underneath. Thank you for sharing your knowledge! Brian

Hi.i have a question for you plz..everytime i put potatoes on the bottom..when they're done cooking..they always turn brown?i noticed yours were not that brown..is there anything i could do to prevent them from turning brown,?i wonder if its the type of potato i used?i used the white potato maybe i need to use the yellow potato?what do you think?thx

mystique rose Hello my dear mine sometime turn brown this is normal taste delicious and protect the grape leaves to burn or stick but if u don’t want them to burn try to cook them on medium heat or bit less and keep watching the water inside them if the water evaporated means the potatoes is burnt btw u can use any kind of potatoes .

@@SmileyGirl230 hi...great thank you for explaining..i thought also maybe they turn brownish bc of the grape leaves..how the green colour comes out and maybe gives the potatoes that brownish colour...anyways shukran😉

By the way I don't use fresh grape leaves I use can ( Orlando) glass container is easy to find but fresh is not easy.

+Brenda Abuomar I never try it before but normally in Lebanon we add pomegranate on baba ghanouj ( mtabal batenjen ) lebanese eggplant like hummus : )

Hello, I have a question, how can I do it so when I make this the grape leaves don't stay hard or chewy? I eat them in other places and they are not hard to chew. The filling is cooked but the leaves are hard, what can I do please let me know. Thank you

+Brenda Abuomar Yeah i know its hard to find the fresh grape leaves also me i always use the jar one if u like u can boil the grape leaves for 2 or 3 minutes before stuffing them with the filling that will be easier to cook normaly i'll take them of the jar wash them and roll them then cook for 45 minutes and they don't need to be over cooked they taste more delicious with this crunchy bit grapy leavy ahahahahahah I hope that help sweetheart : )
