Yes car fires can be dangerous. But leave the guy alone... It's not a nuclear bomb.

Meanwhile, the other two owners of the intact cars do nothing because they believe cars on fire explode like the movies.... excellent video capture. Not afraid to get in there and get the details.

Why not carry a shorter hose? Why do they have to lay out a hundred feet of hose and then spend extra time taking the kinks out?

I remember one time me my mom dad and brothers were on a trip somewhere years ago, and the van over heated, its a 77 chevy with a bored 350 with forged pistons, all we had was soda left so in it all went that cooled it down, smelled like sprite for awhile, engine is still going strong.

If vehicles exploded from fire, they wouldn't allow engine seize competitions at the local derby.

sir, sir, sir, please get away from the car. I have seen them explode on T.V. and hollywood says all cars explode when they are on fire. They really do sir, I have seen the films. LOL.... I am a firefighter for 25 + years and I have yet seen a car explode when on fire. .

What brand is this minivan that made it so frigging difficult to open the hood? It should just have been a simple latch that even if melted from fire should be easily removed.

The guy was putting water on the fire like he was paying the water bill. He put down the hose 6 times. Let the water FLOW!!

firewalls doing a good job, it takes an appreciable amount of heat for tires to explode, they do not explode just because they are in flames.

Why do they still have those old fashion firetrucks with those clumsy hoses... use a high pressure hose from a real. It saves valuable time and are way easier to handle. Have a look at channel fire 24/7 and observe there response time after arriving at a side. Quite a difference... Still nice to watch video's like these. Thanks!

When smoke can be seen down the street, I would think one fireman would put his mask on. They always have to de-truck and then mask up? Were these guys trainees?

Was machen die denn da, diese Noobs? Meine Fresse. 1. brauchen die eine Ewigkeit bevor Wasser läuft und dann stellen sie sich absolut dämlich beim öffnen der Motorhaube an. Die brauchen schweres Werkzeug und über 9 Minuten bis das Scheißding auf ist. Ist ja peinlich, was die da abliefern. Glücklicherweise hat mal einer in das Auto reingeschaut, sonst hätten die Plinsen nicht mitbekommen, dass sich das Feuer schon in den Innenraum gefressen hatte. Meine Fresse, wenn die Amis solch unfähigen Leute in der Feuerwehr hat, braucht man sich nicht zu wundern, dass da jedes Jahr mehrere hundert sogenannte Feuerwehrleute den Arsch hoch machen. Ist ja echt beschämend zu sehen, was die da abziehen.
