On 21 March 2023, First Leicester gave stakeholders and the press a preview of the first of its new fleet of Wrightbus GB Kite electric single-deck buses for use on services in and around Leicester. Buses Minister Richard Holden viewed the bus, and took it for a short drive around the depot. See issue 1569 for the full story.
