It's a good thing you got the Dual Pen as your second augment instead of the On-Hit Spells, cause MarksMage does physical damage, so you get a lot out of that pen.

there is so many OP veigar augments. Once I had apex inventor wooglet euraka and something that gave me more ap. Not only was I on shotting everyone with my 2.2k ap I could also survive nigh indefinetly thanks to the ~2.5 second downtime wooglet

Early game on veigar cooldown boots are good for more stacks, sell them after 2 items for pen boots. The stats you gain permanently is enough for the lost money.
