Vein.FM - Demise Automation (Official Music Video) 

I just bored my wife to death telling her about how everyones minds would have been blown by this in 1999 but in like 2008 it would have just been a really good song. It couldn't really have even existed between 2002 and 2006 cause hardcore was in the underground and douche rock dominated everything. Now is the time that a band like this can shine though. They're fuckin great.

DumbPunk I’d say it’s more of an og 90s metalcore aesthetic more than anything. Bands like botch, converge n’ the number twelve looks like you. Not sure why people go to nu-metal when they think of vein.

@@MisfitBankai because their AESTHETIC is pure numetal like he said. Also vein only slightly have stuff in common with those more experimental mathcore bands you named; they sound much closer to straight up noisy metalcore like One King Down, Turmoil, and Vision of Disorder, mixed with early Korn, Slipknot, and Coal Chamber style nasty grooves, guitar tones, dissonance and samples (amen break any1?), Linkin Park meets Poison the Well style melodic interludes with a touch of early Cave In or even Coalesce's penchant for controlled discord. They're a highly eclectic band but comparing them to Number12 is a little much imo.

I'm trying to have a conversation about cool music and you're just gonna shut it down because "like, opinions"? If you can back up your claims maybe, idk, DISCUSS why you feel that way, maybe I'll be inclined to see why you think number 12 might be an influence. Maybe I just haven't heard it yet. I get converge and botch, because I mean, they basically sound like Luti Kriss/Norma Jean, only the inverse - they start as a hardcore band and go numetal instead of vice versa. And bless the martyr was pretty much we are the jane doe romans with a side of tear from the red. But Number 12 seems too white belt to be an influence on Vein. But then again maybe I'm wrong, they did do a split with sassgrind band .giffromgod... But then again, they also hated it and said they were total weirdos. I don't know, and I guess we never will because instead of discussion, we have, like, opinions man. Don't hurt my feelings.
