Velingrad is famous for its mineral waters and spa centres and stretches over the side of a mountain, looking down along a long valley. In addition to the Spas there is a pleasant pedestrian walkway lined with restaurants and cafes and souvenir stalls. Worth a days exploring, or longer if you want to take a 'cure'.
