The velma is one of the only few shows I’ve seen that has managed all groups of people to hate it

This show is honestly written like the producers were playing tug of war during its entire creation. I've never seen anything more chronically online, and some how SIMULTANEOUSLY far left and far right at the same time. They were trying so hard to not be racist and somehow became the most racist show I've ever watched.

Only part I laughed at was 1:40 the voice actor delivered that line really well tbh

I'm not going to lie. The part where Fred asked, "Why am I here", made me laugh. I don't know why but that felt weirdly relatable for a moment! Everything else was cringe. 😅➡️👀

The only big laugh this show got out of me is during the opening scene of episode one- but it didn't happen in the way that comedies normally elicit laughs out of me. The opening scene aggressively crammed so much nudity , violence, try-hard meta humour and self referential 4th wall breaking into the first damn scene , that I had to pause it and take a moment to just absorb how much stuff the show was spewing at me. And when I did , I just broke out into a fit of laughter - the show has just started and its awful already . This was really happening. This thing was gonna be a train wreck from the first minute of its run time and that just tickled me . After laughing hard for about 2 minutes, I calmed down , unpaused the episode and continued watching . No further laughs were had.

The script for this show feels like it was written by a AI using Twitter. The only joke that made me laugh was shaggy saying he hates drugs and I only laugh because it's ironic that it's a adult show that can go all the way.

This isn’t a real Scooby Doo reboot, it’s just a flanderized version of one; also didn’t Scooby Doo already have a ton of reboots? Like What’s New Scooby Doo, for example

in my mind, Norville, Daphne, Velma and Fred's parents were all obsessed with the show and the characters, so they named their kids after the scooby gang,raised them to watch the show too,then the kids became obsessed, started dressing like them, and tried to act like the scooby gang. then they all somehow found each other on social media or something and moved to the same town so they could start a club just like the scooby gang.

The cliche straight best friend one is actually funny because that's how it is in a lot of frined groups
