It says deceleration therefore it's 5 if it said estimate the acceleration then it would be -5 since it's going *down* , but since it alrdy said *de* celeration, you should say 5. (Deceleration basically gives it that - ) In 7:44 you can see it says estimated accceleration, but it's going down therefore the answer was in fact negative. Hope this helps
Shouldn't question 3 for the first example be -5 opposed to positive 5? if you take the difference in the co ordinates you get a negative number, and it is a negative slope.
