This model is meant for recumbent trikes and offers an excellent protection by rain and sun, it diminishes the cold feelings in winter.
The bascule-system of the canopy facilitates the entering or the exit on the trike. It can be folded into the bag backsides like the side panels and the poles.
The hight adjustable central windscreen offers, if wished, a view window and is removable.

The website is difficult to navigate.. Not user friendly or intuitive.. And looking or specific adapters for a specific trike is not in an easy to find place.. Then when you finally figure out what you want, the buy it option cancels your order. Then you find out that the order will take weeks to get to USA.. And the Veltop dealers in the USA don't have enough into, and they also have to struggle with the website and now were looking at a month to maybe get the order you paid for..

We are currently redesigning the website. Regarding delivery times, we dispatch our parcels as soon as we receive your order. Depending on your location, delivery may take longer or shorter. Normally it takes 10 days.

MMmm great you say, try looking through a raindrop plastic windscreen `cause you can`t see a damn thing. Without windscreen wipers your blind as a bat on the road and extreemly accident prone. Belting along at 30-40 mph on a recumbent in the pooring rain your guarenteed a hospital visit. Why they dont fit windscreen wipers beats me, every car has them

Our windscreen is water-repellent so water does not stagnate and does not obstruct visibility. Since 2007 none of our customers have had an accident. I advise you to try it to get a more precise opinion.

Hello, Thank you for your comment. We are completely aware about the trouble of visibility when it's raining and when the eyes are far away from the screen, that's why the middle polycarbonate screen of our VELTOP EXPEDITION model is high adjustable in order to obtain a sight window. The wipers are for this reason not necessary.
