Velvet Revolver -Slither (Ozzfest/Download 2005) 

Everyone wanted Scott as their frontman, because no matter his problems, when he was on nobody could touch him as a vocalist and performer. Slash sounds really good here and Duff and Sorum are rock solid as a rhythm section. It's a damn shame we lost Scott but it was also inevitable.

I was there that day like many others and can safely say this performance didnt do them justice as the live performance sounded so muchhhh better. They were incredible.

@DodgerInPA Scott brought the megaphone/siren with him from his awesome days with STP. He still uses the megaphone on certain songs to give his voice the distorted, extra loud effect that it has on the recorded song. The siren just started showing up in the late 90s at the end of Sex Type Thing, (which is usually what STP would close with). I believe that because the sound of a siren is alarming, Scott employs it to get the attention of everyone at the end.

He does it a lot, it's called improvisation, and only great singers can make it sound good when they improv singing like that. I think he does a decent job. Especially when he sings the notes to the solo (he does it a lot so it isn't really improv anymore).

Lesson 1 - have the BullHorn on emergency, Hump it, Then stare at Slash Lesson 2- Be the best frontman ever :)
