Isn't it the same with all good frontmen? In reality they're really insecure and need drugs to compensate not seeing how awesome they really are on stage...
D Mills the Lion troll Scott made it to the top with two great bands. You on the other hand are the real pussy who never did shit. You’re just a coward living in you mommy’s basement. Now change that name to what it should be D Mills the PUSSY troll.
@DnB and Psy Production think he's a wee bit better at the singing than axl. Don't get me wrong in his day axl had it all but he copied Ian Astbury. Watch Ian singing sanctuary from the early 80s and you'll see what I mean.
No te engañes...vengo por los músicos...no por este webon...que se colgó de la fama de los guns.....igual no duro.....la pregunta es ..no había otro cantante....con mejor performance.
Saw STP in ‘08 with The Black Keys. Scott had such a great presence and energy, it really made me sad when he died. I know he overdosed, but it was a struggle. He’d be sober for a while, then get kicked out of a band for substance abuse. It was a vicious cycle. Glad I got to see him at his best before the end.
Scott is definitely one of the top 5 Frontmen ever..he kills this at Ozzfest and you can actually feel the vibe..Killer shit...R.I.P. Scott-You're definitely missed....
Absolutely agree. I think Scott was the best frontman in his Era. I know there are lords frontman who can sing better than him. However his stage presence and charisma was just another level.
can we just take a moment to appreciate Scott's live vocal is just as good as the studio version? a lot of rockers can scream, but their live performances are absolutely unlistenable. he's just a consummate rock star on stage.
My first concert was Velvet Revolver. I was 12. Looking back at that now, I got pretty lucky my dad took me to see Scott for my first ever show. Thanks dad!
I'm watching the video thinking that this was an old band from the 60's when I saw the name Velvet Revolver. Got it confused with Velvet Underground which I believe was Lou Reed back in the day.
That was one of the most rock and roll performances I've ever seen. Weiland was a beast onstage. The amount of energy he is imparting to the audience is extraordinary. What a front man.
Weiland was a fucking icon. The best bits of Ziggy, Sid vicious and Rob halford rolled into one VERY THIN package. Oh and more importantly he could REALLY sing. r.i.p
Best frontman performance I've ever seen. Didn't miss a beat, a step or a note. Basically dances off the stage onto high speaker stacks like they're nothing & DELIVERS. Scott always gave 110%!!
Scott Weiland, Chris Cornell... All the old bands are still alive but they’re all too old, Judas Priest, Led Zeppelin, etc but yeah Velvet Revolver and Audio Slave were some power houses.
scott is one hell of a frontman the way he dances sings and likes to connect with the crowd hes great always been a fan suck his addiction got best of him rip
Sad 😞. Some asshole couple replys back doesn't know what good music is and has no respect.RIP my friend Scott weiland.might not have known you but I know your pain.gbyfamily and friends
Unbelievable performance. Scott with out a doubt one of rock N roll best front man ever. He will always be missed and loved, we still have his gift he left us all that is his kicking ass music god bless your soul.
Sometimes I hate that this band only has 2 albums, but on the other hand, they're 2 perfect albums. Always felt that they were very underrated. Lucky people in this crowd. Man, how bad the times have changed.
15 years ago man, I was 15 and here, finally seeing my heroes. Never forget this, epic set, played the arse off of the GNR tunes, Scott was something else to witness, RIP geez.
Scott was easily the greatest front man of my generation as far as I'm concerned. a total chameleon who had an innate ability to elevate any song, and he even made Guns and Roses palatable to me, no small feat.
As a born southerner I can tell you the Battle Flag of the Confederacy is taken as an anti government symbol more than a racist symbol here in the South. There are even people of color who fly the flag. To me it has always stood for the rebel cause. As in screw the federal government with their oversight and over reach. I don't fly the flag myself, but I don't have a problem with people who do.
Tight? As in the bass started sloppyin the wrong key...then when the rhythm kicked in he was in wrong key then they forgot to pause for the vocal breaks and it gets worse from there...if that's what you meant by tight....they are tight as a mouses ear....
That was Saturday of Download festival. Sunday was the day I enjoyed more with Motörhead, KSE, Slayer and Slipknot. I left halfway through SOAD to beat the mass exodus as I was working Monday morning 😂😂
Love how Scott stands smoking at the intro dead cool like he's waiting for a bus then turns round and wow. Great front man. Fantastic band wish I'd seen them. Rip Scott
Scott taking the stage, commanding, sliding, singing like it's last call. Amazing frontman, entertainer, vocalist. One of those singers that do it even better live!
VR's debut album is the greatest supergroup album of all time. Absolute banger from start to finish. No other supergroup before or after VR has released a better album
